Balannced Yoga Meditation Retreat in Pokhara

Balanced Yoga Meditation Retreat is an ideal way to deepen and evolve your yoga practice. The Yoga techniques utilizes posture, breath, locks, gestures, sound, and cleansing practices to prepare the physical,mental,emotional and psyhic body for meditation. This workshop approaches hatha yoga traditionally as described in the ancient text "Hatha Yoga Pradipika". Included in the course is asana practice, pranayama classes, yoga philosophy lectures, anatomy and physiology, meditation techniques and yoga nidra classes.

The course includes the practice and study of a variety of traditional Hatha yoga poses. Hatha yoga includes a variety of non strenuous asanas that are held for an extended period of time whilst practicing deep breathing techniques. This course will help you to practice and experience the physical and spiritual teachings of this ancient system of yoga with emphasis on awareness, breath, and ways in which to bring this practice and philosophy into your daily life. In this retreat, you will be staying at Atmashree Yoga Retreat. All the rooms at this retreat center are equipped with private bathrooms. You may have options to choose a private single room or shared room that will be shared with two or three people.

Included excursions

On your free time, you can do various activities such as cycling, hand boating, paragliding, bungee jumping, etc. You can also visit tourist destination such as Buddha stupa, caves, fall, temples, local village, and lakes. All of these activities are subject to additional costs. If you feel like reading, you can always borrow yoga related books at the retreat center. There is a lake just the front of Atmashree Yoga and you may spend your free time swimming in the lake which is clean and spacious.

This retreat will take place at Atmashree Yoga Retreat. This retreat center is nestled in a beautiful valley of Pokhara, Nepal, in the foothills of mountains far away from the noisy crowd and on the banks of Phewa Lake. Pokhara is one of the most favored places for natural excursions. You will have the entire Pokhara to visit during your stay. The mountains, lakes, caves, landscapes, sunrise, and sunset are its weapons to make you feel like in a heaven. The scenery here is a god gifted view of Phewa Lake, forest, and birds with heart touching sounds.

In this retreat, you will be served with three daily meals of traditional organic, Ayurvedic, and vegetarian Nepalese food such as soup, salad, chapatti, rice pudding, rice, curry, herbal tea, milk tea, coffee, porridge, fruits, and yogurt. Bottled water will be provided and herbal tea is available throughout the day.

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You may stay overnight in Thamel (Kathmandu) which depends on your arrival in Kathmandu airport. Please book your flight coming to Pokhara in advance via Yeti, Buddha or Simrik airlines.We can help arrange the tickets at additional cost. After arriving in Pokhara Airport, you may take a taxi (costs 8 USD) and ask the taxi driver to call us so that he can be guided to Atmashree Yoga Retreat with ease. Atmashree can pick you up from Pokhara airport at your request (Please send the details of your flight to our mail)

Arrival by taxi

Once you have reached Kathmandu, please book a taxi and ask the driver to drop you at Atmashree Yoga Retreat in Pokhara. Please ask the taxi driver to call us so that he can be guided to Atmashree Yoga Retreat with ease. The distance from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 200 kilometers and the taxi fare is from 100 USD. It will be the wonderful drive of 6 - 7 hours witnessing the beauty of mountains, rivers, hills, and many more. Atmashree can pick you up from Kathmandu at your request (Please send the details of your flight or hotel to our mail)

Arrival by bus

Please catch a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara which you can get on a daily basis from 6:30 am which costs around 7 - 10 USD. You can book your bus ticket from any travel agency after arriving at Kathmandu in Thamel area. Its a tourist bus with comfortable seats. After arriving in Pokhara, you may take a taxi (costs 7 USD) and ask the taxi driver to call Atmashree so that he can be guided to Atmashree Yoga Retreat with ease. Atmashree can pick you up from Pokhara airport at your request (Please send the details of your bus to our mail)

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
