Shahar Abiad

Shahar is an experienced yoga teacher and yoga therapist. He was born in Argentina and immigrated to Israel in 2000. Currently, he is living in Barcelona. He began to practice yoga as a process of self-realization, and ever since, he continues to explore and study the discipline. The philosophy of yoga is now an important pillar of his way of life. He was certified to teach yoga by the legendary Master Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra. Shahar teaches yoga workshops and retreats in Europe, Israel, and Argentina.

"Todo maravilloso"

La experiencia ha sido más que fantástica, lo recomiendo al 100%. El entorno prefecto; una casa preciosa que transmite mucha paz; muy buena organización combinando estupendas clases de yoga con salidas a la playa y otras excursiones; la comida excelente ( y me considero una persona de paladar exigente y se agradece mucho tener todo el día a disposición fruta, galletas e infusiones). La compañía de los demás "yoguis" y de Shahar fue inmejorable así como también la de Óscar, de l'espai de l'Harmonia, que pudimos disfrutar de su hermosa capacidad de escucha y sabiduría.

Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable que sin duda hay que repetir! :)

"Agradable retiro en pareja"

Lo mejor de los retiro, siempre es la gente con quien conectas y el momento que realmente conectas contigo mismo. A veces no lo encuentras el primer día ni en el segundo, en mi caso fue en mi cuarto día. Maravilloso.

Fue un día hermoso, por la mañana practicamos una de las mejores clases de yoga que he hecho en mi vida. Muchos ejercicios de estiramientos des del suelo. El resultado fue increíble, y seguido de una caminata por la playa con muy buen tiempo y con una segunda clase por la tarde donde la energía fluía muy intensamente. Practicamos yoga con mantras, trabajos respiratorios y relajaciones profundas. Gracias por ese día en especial, me regalé mucho amor.

I went with Katy and Shahar on this retreat in May and it has been an amazing experience! Everything was extremely well organized. The retreat took place in a beautiful Buddhist house in the mountains, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The class schedule was very well balanced with rest time in between and a lot of variation in the program, alternating meditation, breathing exercises, and Hatha yoga. Shahar built up the classes very well, starting light to prepare for a more profound practice later on in the weekend, as well he threw in some very welcoming surprises. Very much recommended for anybody that wants to take a deeper dive in their practice, whether beginner or more advanced, and have a peaceful weekend for themselves.
