Liz and Tania are very excited to invite you to their next shared retreat, a women's yoga retreat at the beautiful Hunger Hill Yurts in Devon. This will be a special retreat celebrating the autumn equinox and also reflecting on the feminine aspects of yoga and in your lives. Liz and Tania will teach a combination of energizing Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in the mornings combined with therapeutic practices of Restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra in the afternoons.
During this retreat, you will be staying in a yurt that can fit up to four-person complete with a wood burner for each participant.
It will be at the autumn equinox, a special time in the year to look back at what you have achieved and experienced in the summer months and sow our seeds of intentions as you enter the darker more reflective months of the year.
This retreat will be from Friday, 4 p.m. until Monday at 11 a.m. to allow plenty of time for yoga, walking, adventures in the countryside, relaxing on the beach, getting cozy in a hammock with your favorite book, and fires and storytelling under the stars.
The final yoga class finishes at 5 p.m. on Sunday so those who need to leave on Sunday evening won’t be missing out on teaching and those who wish to stay for the extra night to relax and perhaps head to the beach on Monday can.
Liz is a Hatha yoga teacher whose initial training was with The Life Centre, now known as Yogacampus. She has also trained with and is a member of British Wheel of Yoga - London Region. She also marvels at Restorative yoga, yoga therapy, pregnancy, and postnatal yoga. Liz's background before yoga training was a drama and movement therapist.
Tania has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching in the UK and Europe since 2010. Tania has practiced and taught a wide range of styles of yoga from Iyengar Yoga, through to Restorative Yoga. She has studied with teachers ranging from Shiva Rea to Donna Farhi and many others. Tania is also the author of the book Yoga for Dementia and loves to make yoga practices available for all. Tania’s style of mindful vinyasa involves moving with flowing movements from one pose to the next with awareness of the safety and sustainability, and also the importance of moving with breath.
This retreat will take place in Hunger Hill Yurts in Devon, United Kingdom.
During this retreat, you will be served daily homemade organic vegetarian brunch and dinner as well as tea.
