Creacon Wellness Retreat offers a quiet, nurturing environment that supports your journey to wellness, with private or shared accommodation, all approved to Failte Ireland’s standards. Creacon Wellness Retreat has a meditation hall, a community lounge, an art studio, a library and a bookstore, and a tea room.

The facilities also include modern, media-free guest suites for complete relaxation. Nutritious snacks, alkaline Kangen water, and lightly scented relaxation mists are also available in all rooms to promote a restful sleep.

Accommodation rules

No smoking (including e-cigarettes), candles, or incense may be burned in your bedrooms. It is requested that lights are turned off in bedrooms by midnight at the latest. Music shall not be played in bedrooms after 10 p.m. There are designated smoking areas at the back gate of the wellness center, the tables by the pond, and at the car park gravel, where ash buckets / ashtrays are located. Please do not smoke near any doors or windows.


On this retreat, you will experience and enjoy a range of mindful practices and adopt it into your lifestyle. The practices include one-minute Mindfulness for stress relief, mindful breathing to mindful creativity, mindful heart, and mindful communication. You will learn to understand how to utilize Mindfulness to bring relief from stress and anxiety to live a more fulfilling life.

Mindfulness is a simple and gentle tool that can give you choice in every moment by training your minds to create through acceptance and paying attention. By training this, you can achieve a more loving, natural, and rejuvenating mental state! Mindfulness enables you to gently and kindly manage the thoughts produced in your minds so you can get a chance to choose how you can experience life and enjoy staying fully present in each moment instead of being dragged into the past or future.

Colette Savage
Colette has visited India on many occasions, spending time with practicing monks and wise sages, absorbing spiritual teachings, and developing mindfulness understanding and techniques. In addition, she has taken certified mindfulness training and communication with the mindful school organization to further her own knowledge, practice, and offerings.


This retreat will take place in the Creacon Wellness Retreat. Nestled in the majestic green hills of the Irish countryside, the lodge is the ideal destination for retreat, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Originally a historic Irish inn, Creacon was transformed by its founders, Derek O’Neill and his late wife Linda O’Neill, into a serene haven that nurtures the spirit, mind, and body.

The spacious outdoor gardens are surrounded by rolling hills, panoramic landscapes, and beautiful natural scenery, creating a tranquil and nurturing environment for guests and visitors. The food is medicine program introducing Eastern therapeutic cuisine and Ayurvedic meals into the menu. Good nutrition is essential for the body and all its systems to function optimally for a lifetime.

Filling your plate with the colors of the rainbow promotes a long and healthy life. You can literally ingest the intelligence of the universe into your biology. Foods that are deep blue, purple, red, green, or orange are leaders in antioxidants and contain many nutrients that boost immunity and enhance health.

How to get there

Driving directions from Dublin Airport (DUB)

  • Take the M50 South going through toll bridge. Keep going straight all the way.
  • A bit after Bray, the M50 turns into the N11. Again, continue straight.
  • Go through the Gorey Bypass to Enniscorthy, following signs to Wexford.
  • Turn right at the New Ross Roundabout (Maldron Hotel on your left). This will be the N25.
  • Take this road into New Ross.
  • Coming down a hill, turn left immediately onto Duncannon Road (R733) the Brandon House.
  • Drive two miles and turn left at the Creacon Wellness Retreat sign. This is a narrow road with high hedges the sign may be hard to see.
  • Creacon Lodge will be a half mile up on your right.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Dublin Airport (DUB) or Waterford Airport (WAT).

Arrival by bus

If you are coming from Dublin Airport (DUB), you can take the shuttle bus into Dublin city center to Heuston train station or Connolly Train Station. There is also a bus directly from the Dublin Airport (DUB) to New Ross town. If you are going into Dublin city center, you may take the shuttle bus 747 or 748, which usually runs every 15 minutes and is located just outside the exit door from baggage claim.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on departure.
