Our home for the week will be a nordic adventure in the hub of the Icelandic culture and capital city of Reykjavik. We'll stay at a beautiful certified "green" spa hotel in the center and get a wonderful relaxing welcome to this amazing country where we'll have front row seats to the food, art, and history of the "land of fire and ice".

The completely renovated Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura embodies the spirit of Reykjavik with a nature-and-wellness theme. This retreat includes upgraded “Art Rooms”, as well as access to an executive lounge, daily spa passes, and are decorated with beloved and distinguished Icelandic artists. Enjoy samples of their art, biographies, and artist’s pictures on display. The Art rooms are tastefully decorated and offer all the amenities you would expect.

The Soley Natura Spa is an on-premises high class facility featuring Iceland's only indoor hotel geothermal spa pool, Finnish saunas, fitness facilities, and spa treatments. With the unique proximity to Reykjavik’s wooded areas of Oskjuhlid Hill, guests of the Icelandair Reykjavik Natura Hotel can take advantage of the walking paths to explore the surrounding lava and seacoast landscapes.

Daily meditation and yoga classes will be offered in a way to relax, stimulate, and help guests grow in their own personal practice. Classes are open to all levels, beginner to practiced, and can range from gentle, restorative, and more vigorous vinyasa flow and ashtanga styles. Style and class levels will be determined and molded to fit participating students' needs, and with a small intimate retreat class size, students will be able to get personalized attention and comfortability to deeply explore their practice.

Depending on each retreat location, classes will be held in a dedicated indoor yoga space and some also offer outdoor options as well for us to use if the weather is agreeable.

Eat.Pray.Move will take a tour through Iceland's famous Golden Circle which will include the three primary stops on the route: the national park Þingvellir, the waterfall Gullfoss (meaning "golden falls"), and the geothermally active valley of Haukadalur, which contains the geysers Geysir and Strokkur. Though Geysir has been inactive for a long time, Strokkur, on the other hand, continues to erupt at every 5-10 minutes interval.

We will also spend a day in the capital city of Reykjavik to explore some sites, take a walking tour, free time to shop, see more of the Icelandic design, or relax before your dinner in town! A day in the village of Hveragerði will allow you to see more of this thermal water capital and even visit various sites and thermal parks.

And a trip to Iceland wouldn't be complete without a day at the Blue Lagoon with its healing waters, silica masks, unparalleled views, and overall spa experience!

"My time in Provence was an amazing and wondrous and glorious one. Filled with fabulous moments I hoped for and more that I could never have imagined. It was a beautifully crafted experience in every respect – the accommodations, the yoga, the food, the excursions, the pampering, the camaraderie. And of course the art. The joyful, exuberant, awakening art. The entire adventure was deliciously exhilarating and fun. And I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the time and energies you committed to making it so. And thus I guess what I wanted (and for too long neglected) to do was to say “Thank-you!”. I loveloveloved it!"

"I am so grateful that I got to join EPM for the beautiful week in Puglia. I felt so happy the whole week. The yoga classes Erin gives,- give me an inner peace and well-being and I can’t wait to experience it again. Everyday was filled with what felt like the exact thing I wanted to do, the people in the group were fabulous, every one of them, lots of laughs and happy moments together. The Puglia-experience still sits in my system and I know it gave me the final kick to change my life, I am in process, for me it was an important moment. I can’t wait to join EPM again, and as I am an returning guest - I know I’ve become addicted! Thank you Erin, for everything !"

"I can’t begin to express my thanks for the week in Venice. I am still in disbelief that it ever happened! I still can’t decide what part of it was my favorite - the mask making was so unique and informative, the walking tours laid out the city—but I think if all I had done was the boat ride to Murano and dinner at Ai Barbicani, I could have gone home happy. Honestly, even just the hotel was great - I’m already recommending it to friends. The yoga space was gorgeous - and the staff were incredible. I also really loved the art classes. I usually have to beg to stop to take photos, so to be in a space where someone encouraged it was so refreshing! Our group stayed together most of the time (even in our off time), and all of the buzz was fantastic and so positive. Cornelia talked in our off time about how the retreat was so much more than what she expected, and Laura was really taken by the art projects, and Alicia just loved the tiramisu! We all talked about how the yoga and art were shaping our view of the city, how much we loved all the details and how we were SO GLAD we didn’t have to organize it ourselves! By the third night, everyone was saying they already felt like they could go home happy. Thank you for presenting me with this incredible opportunity."

"This was my first Yoga retreat (I attended with my girlfriend) and it was terrific. Erin has created a great concept and runs a great business. She said she loves to travel and she loves yoga and she has merged these passions into a very unique experience. The yoga was technically pure and diverse without the rigid atmosphere you might expect. The day trips were a mix of city, village, and nature environments. The accommodations and itinerary allowed us to make new friends. In fact, many of our new friends told us that this is the way they travel because of what Erin has put together. You eat well, have sessions of yoga, see parts of the world you will never see againall in one week!"

Erin was a wonderful host who led thoughtful, challenging, and accessible classes in addition to daily excursions that provided a view of the Provenal region from many different angles. "I have always had a love of travel and a spirit of adventure, but as an almost 69-year old single woman, I believed my opportunities were limited and tame. Then EAT.PRAY.MOVE came into my life and boy am I hooked! I signed up for the September trip to Marrakech and it was one of the finest travel experiences of my life. The accommodations were beautiful, the service. Wonderful, the feeling of family and good friends surrounded us. Instead of being in a hotel, with the usual hotel culture, I was able to experience a true Moroccan lifestyle, including delicious food served on a delightful porch near the beautiful pool during the day and in a picturesque tent in the evening. The activities were fabulous: walking around in the walled old city with shopping galore, going on a day trip to a beach town, including riding a camel, (I fantasized being Lawrence of Arabia) and dining in exceptional Marrakech restaurants. We received henna treatments and spent an afternoon at a spa. Of course, there was yoga and meditation every day, too. It was a wonderful, exciting and affordable trip. I cant wait to see next years schedule!"

"My wife and I have participated on four EPM retreats. Each time we have been completely captivated by the experience. The locations are absolutely spectacular. The food and wine is local, healthy, fresh and delicious. The daily trips are personal, structured (but not overly so), enthralling, adventurous and chic. This is not your uncles travel guide tour. Erin offers an intimate and deeply restorative experience. It is invitation to form lifetime friendships with people who are curious, joyful and fun. Many times we feel like we are not only getting a sense for a place but being invited to peer behind the veil and see what is invisible to many travelers, all informed by Erins appreciative eye for beauty, story and style. Finally the yoga is inclusive and healing. I love the music, the settings, the flow and Erins ability to meet you where you are at in your practice.Eat, Pray, Move is our first choice for international travel, personal restoration and inspiration. We highly recommend the experience!"

"The Tuscany retreat was that good that I signed up for the next one! It delivered beyond my expectations. I was showered with warmth at Julian and Amanda's stunning villa where the views are to die for! The day excursions and yoga were well balanced and afforded time for quite relaxation. My energy levels were always at a high thanks to the daily serving of fresh and wholesome Italian cuisine. Erin created a class atmosphere which was focused yet fun. As a Yoga teacher myself I found Erins years experience hugely beneficial, her wealth of knowledge tailored both to myself and Yoga newbies. She is extremely travel savvy and had plenty of recommendations about the must-sees and dos of Italy. This is handy if, like myself, you want to extend your trip. I have been to many yoga retreats but this one stands out as the best. It's contemporary, cost effective but luxurious. Another bonus of the retreat was meeting a variety of personalities. I still stay in contact with some members of our group and we plan to meet at the next retreat.(Ischia) If you desire a getaway which explores culture and personal wellbeing then Eat Pray Move is for you! Thanks Erin, can't wait for the next adventure."
