Emilyoga is currently based in London, United Kingdom, organizing local and international retreats as well as running Karma yoga projects.
Emily found yoga at a crucial turning point in her life back in 2001 while living in Mumbai, India. She had reached a point in her life where she felt disempowered with low self worth and little confidence in who she was and what her purpose in life was. She got on the mat for the first time and took private classes with Vaishaki Naik. She became aware of how much confidence, inner peace, and mental strength she has developed and was able to find the courage to change the course of her life. Emily's teaching is organic and fluid. She enjoys dynamic, strong, invigorating, and focused training.

"The greatest escape!"
Thank you so much Emily for such a lovely weekend. From the moment I arrived I felt welcome and at home. The teachings were inspiring and the food delicious and plenty, did not realise I was on a detox at all. I want to thank you for all the love and consideration that you put in in preparing for the weekend and throughout. It really does show and your passion for it is inspiring. To anyone reading this review, it would be a shame not experiencing a weekend with this lovely person. I came back refreshed with a new perspective on life. Emily, hope to see you again soon!

"Life changing and affirming"
This was the best weekend of my life so far; I didn't want it to end! Emily couldn't have done more to make sure this was a safe, comfortable and relaxed environment for all of us, with lots of laughter and warmth. The weekend gave me the right space to regain a sense of hope and clarity so I could finally make some major life decisions. Emily set the tone for us to really gel and bond as a group with a supportive, non-judgemental, truthful and loving dynamic. We were able to connect with great emotional depth, within just 48 hours of knowing each other.
In terms of yoga, Emily is an expert in not just the practise of it, but also in teaching it (and I've been a teacher for ten years!). She absolutely excelled in enabling us to work to a level beyond what we thought possible. Most of us were achieving things that we'd never even attempted before. It was fantastic to receive that amount of attention and support from a teacher; a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I will definitely not forget this weekend or this beautiful, inspiring and talented lady.

I couldn't have asked for a better way to see in 2018. Emily and Angela were great instructors and really enjoyed the variety of yoga they provided. The food was incredibly delicious and nourishing. I felt very focused and energised at the end of my stay, ready to take on the new year! I highly reccomend to anyone interested.

"Inspiring, amazing, unpretentious yoga /creativity retreat"
Emily and Angela were both brilliant yoga teachers - their energy and spirit was amazing. I felt pushed to achieve things I never would have alone. I also loved the opportunity to make collage art with others.

"Wonderful way to start the new year"
Had a lovely time. Emily and Angela are amazing teachers and work together really well. The classes had the right balance between challenging and relaxing. The lodge was amazing and really homey and you could see how much work and love Mark and Til put into it.
