We had for a work shop and it was a very good option for work and rest. I stayed for four nights and I was perfect. The bedrooms are so comfortable, the blue bar its nice, and the conference room are perfect to work.

Great hotel! Stayed for 1 week - wife and I with 18 month old and loved every minute. Only negative was having to leave! Every member of staff we met was smiling, helpful and knowledgeable. Facilities are excellent - 24 hour indoor pool, gym, bars/restaurant and outdoor pools - 3 and 2 separate paddling pools. We had a studio suite in the residence part which was perfect for a family. We met loads of parents with small children/young families at the resort. All in all a lovely atmosphere to the hotel. Suspect we will be back in the coming years.

Five star, deservedly so; a beautiful place to relax, especially earlier or a bit later in the year. We went in April and had a tranquil week and barely ventured out of the hotel. When we did there are steps down to a long beach where you can walk miles against the backdrop of the orange sandstone cliffs. The gardens are mature, with canopy loungers interspersed amongst glorious, fragrant herb beds. Rooms are amazing, modern and have various glass doors to change the room configuration. Lovely big beds. We had a couple of massages, competently done, and good value as there was a special offer that week. The service was generally excellent, we had one night where the service fell short at dinner, which was a surprise as there were not many residents in the hotel. But that just helped contrast the exceptional welcome and service we otherwise got all day every day. Food is plentiful, fresh with a dizzying array of choice. Highly recommended indeed; overall possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in.

It is difficult to know what to add to all the superlative comments about this place. I certainly have no negative comments. Instead here are a few tips. We booked the most basic resort view room. All rooms except the suites are the same size with the same high spec. We looked out over the front of the hotel but we still had a decent view and our balcony got the evening sunshine. Rooms are very well equipped. If you want to bring your own Nespresso pods to avoid the €1 fee the machines use the flat disc shape. The mini bar is quite roomy but bring your own corkscrew...this is the land of cork. Meals here are good, even the dinner buffet with decent choice. Do try the fine dining Al Quimia restaurant though.... Worthy of a Michelin star. Hire a car. There is so much to explore, driving is easy and the motorway is quick. Although this is a toll road it is not expensive. Pay the car rental company for the use of the payment gizmo on the windscreen. Also bring your own sat nav with you. Some road signs are lacking or confusing and the route to major roads a bit twiddly. We had seriously bad weather for our week and at least we got out and about. Epic Sana deserves it's five star rating, especially for style, comfort and service and I highly recommend it.

We simply loved it! We had booked directly and were there for 3 nights as part of a trip driving around the coast. We drove through Albufeira which was a bit of a tourist trap, so were delighted to arrive at the Epic Sana which is further down the coast and in a much quieter area. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were so well looked after. A concierge parked our car, the receptionist was very informative and walked us to the lift giving us a tour en route and the room was amazing. The bedroom was very spacious with the en suite either being able to be closed off or opened up, giving a brilliant feeling of space - if you look at some photos you'll see what we mean. We also had a balcony which was great for sitting in the evening or morning. We ate in the fine dining Al Quimia one evening and it was a lovely experience - the service, food and ambience were terrific, although a bit pricier than the other restaurants. We also tried the Japanese food in the bar another night and thoroughly enjoyed it too! Highly recommend.
