Program

The program will consist of three yoga and meditation lessons from dawn to sunset around the vision of the woods and mountains and the rest of the day will be dedicated to excursions, walks, and trekking among the most beautiful and evocative of the area, Chamois. Cheneil, the lakes and for the more experienced, it includes trekking on the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa. Don't forget that on the Matterhorn, at 3000 meters you can ski and the lifts are generally open!

The area offers a lot of activities in winter and summer and you will have the opportunity to choose some of the most beautiful and exciting itineraries. Francesca Marchi Scuola Yoga Shivapuri has planned a program of excursions for each day that will be proposed and chosen together based on the group preference. Alternatively, you can also choose your favorite excursions freely without following the group and you can meet with the group for yoga lessons and meals.

  • 18:30 - 20:00 Yoga at sunset: evening yoga lesson - calming preparatory exercises, asanas, pranayama, meditation, or yoga Nidra (blessed relaxation)

  • 22:00 - 23:00 Sharing and preparation of the program the following day

The program of the day may be subject to some slight change of schedule based on the excursions that will be chosen and planned every day. Francesca Marchi Scuola Yoga Shivapuri left a lot of free time which can be used for excursions and relaxation.

In the morning, there are two yoga lessons proposed for the early and late risers, but if you love yoga, you will do both. For the rest of the day, it's nice to leave it blank for a little surprise! Francesca Marchi Scuola Yoga Shivapuri will try to plan a beautiful program for you.

Instructor

Francesca Marchi (sn.Shivapuri) has been studying and practicing yoga since 1977, meets and recognizes her as Guru Swami Satyananda Saraswati in 1985; from that day to today he follows the Satyananda yoga tradition in all his teachings. He made numerous trips to India from 1981 to 2009 with long residential periods at Ganga Darshan and Rikyapeet, the main headquarters of the Bihar School of Yoga, Sw. Satyananda, Swami Niranjanaanda the current successor and Sw Satsangi. In these periods he studies and collaborates with the Bihar Scholl of Yoga in the still living presence of Swami Satyananda.

In Italy, he studied and collaborated with Satyananda Yoga Ashram Italia from 1985 to 2014 following the direct guidance of his teacher Swami Anandananda Saraswati, Acharya of Satyananda Yoga Italia. He has been teaching Yoga since 1993 and in 2001 he founded his own yoga school in Ancona, today based in Ancona and Loreto.

From 2001 to today, he teaches very intensively every day in the courses, in-depth studies of each level and holds numerous seminars and Yoga Retreats. To date he has carried out about 100 residential yoga retreats in various Italian and foreign locations, where he has been invited, with great success, spreading the Satyananda yoga tradition and a yogic lifestyle so that yoga reaches the hearts of people by offering Yoga as "a gift of peace".
