Ashley Aarti Cooper

In 2009, Ashley found herself falling in love with yoga. She traveled to Goa, India, to deepen her spiritual study and receive her 200-hour teacher training certificate. She learned a lot about her self there and began teaching shortly after. As an adventure guide and private yoga instructor, she spends her work and plays time deep within the wild forests of Lake Tahoe and California. She know that her dharma, or life's duty, is to share yoga and the natural world with people to help create a deepened awareness of our interconnection with Mother Earth.

Mark Keuhne

With a profound love for the Taoist philosophy, Mark centers his life on balance in all areas. His dedication to providing healing to others is only matched by his love of playfulness. He spends many mornings out on the mountain, snowboarding or telemark skiing in the winter and downhill mountain biking in the warmer months. Mark acquired his massage therapy license in San Diego, with a specialty in sports massage, and began his studies in bodywork. He then continued to practice while attending the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine to obtain his degree in traditional Chinese medicine.

Breeze Cross

Breeze retired from his career as owner or operator of Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co. at the end of 2012, which enabled him to pursue his passion, to awaken consciousness in the world using meditation, inquiry, sound, and movement the breath. He first discovered the power of bowls at an Asilomar silent retreat when he was asked to be time-keeper and ring the meditation bowl. He combines breathwork, toning, chanting, and his musical bowls to invite people into their bodies, where the tonal, alchemical, and geometric vibrations can touch those deep places that store old emotions and stuck energies.

Tim Schroeder

Tim Schroeder, Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) is involved in a variety of professional and personal activities. He practices what he preaches as a health and wellness performance coach and has owned and operated a successful chiropractic clinic for over 29 years in Tahoe City, California. He is certified by Target Training International as a Professional Behavioral Analyst and has extensive training in the analysis of personal interests, attitudes, and values. In addition, he maintains a passion as a fifth degree Black Belt and certified Master Instructor in the art of Tang Soo Do Karate.

Polly Triplat

Polly Triplat is a visionary craniosacral and massage therapist, conscious dance movement facilitator, and wilderness guide. She is a true earth spirit who is dedicated to facilitating wellness, conscious community and nature connection. Polly's quest for somatic knowledge lead her into the world of the embodiment and movement practices of conscious dance. Trained as an NIA White Belt and a certified Feldenkrais practitioner, Polly is currently a student in the Open Floor teacher training and continues to expand her ability to understand and teach somatic healing practices.

Mike Dow

Dr. Mike Dow, Psy.D, Ph.D. is a highly sought-after psychotherapist, neurotherapist, and the New York Times bestselling author of The Brain Fog Fix, Healing the Broken Brain, and Diet Rehab. Throughout his career, he has hosted several hit television series and served as a go-to expert in relationships, brain health, addiction, and mental illness.

Lindsay Rojas

Lindsay’s passion for nutrition and alternative health was sparked when she realized the profound effect a nourishing diet had on her own health. Transitioning to a nutrient-dense, properly prepared, whole foods way of eating changed her life and health more than she could have ever expected. Due to the profound transformation she experienced with her own health, a life-long passion emerged and drive was established to educate the community about how to truly nourish the body with quality, unprocessed, whole foods. She is a member of Slow Food USA and is involved with the Slow Food Lake.

April Murrell

April is a certified aromatherapist who has also worked as an esthetician and massage therapist for over 20 years. She first trained in San Francisco and has continued her studies in both the US and Australia. April provides compassionate, results orientated services in both massage and skin care, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the skin and body. April is also trained in Live Blood analysis (LBA). This offering is a unique opportunity to watch your live blood cell activity bringing knowledge and awareness to improve your health.

Joanna Koch

Dr. Koch's hobbies are triathlon, hiking, paddleboarding, and cooking. She came to the Tahoe area in 1987. She went to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and did her residency at the Merced Community Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine-Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Tracy Desens

Tracy's love for yoga started 15 years ago in Southern California. She moved to Tahoe in 2000 and loves it here! Tracy obtained her certification in the YogaWorks method by Lakshmi (Angie) Norwood in March of 2014. YogaWorks is a combination of Iyengar, Ashtanga and ViniYoga; put simply, alignment with flow. In Tracy's classes you can expect a level 1-2 in difficulty, breath awareness with flowing movement, use of gentle sun salutes to warm the body, an empahsis on alignment in postures and use of props.

Katie Capano

Practicing yoga since 1998, Katie started teaching yoga in 2007 and has since trained in multiple styles of yoga and bodywork. Katie thanks Kundalini yoga for teaching her discipline, Thai Massage for teaching her patience, and Prajna yoga for teaching her humility. Currently, Katie focuses both her teaching and her self-practice on Restorative yoga, mindfulness meditation, and alignment-based Hatha. She loves the fusion of yoga and social justice, discussing the importance of cultural awareness amongst yoga teachers.

Kate Leist

Kate Leist's yoga journey is about discovering one's truth and living a healthy and fulfilled life. She is passionate about the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual benefits of yoga and generously shares this knowledge with her students. Kate's teaching style is gentle, well-paced and fun with subtle, challenging variations, keeping all students engaged with an emphasis on proper alignment. While certified as an Ashtanga Vinyasa flow teacher, her classes seamlessly blend influences from Kundalini yoga, powerful and transformational breathwork, and guided meditations.

Brooke Butler

Brooke is a diversified and skilled healer. In addition to having studied BodyTalk Fundamentals, the building blocks of BodyTalk, she has studied the principles of consciousness, the musculoskeletal system, five elements, bio-dynamics, orthopedic evaluation, and PaRama. Additionally, Brooke is a Reiki master or teacher, has a Bachelor of Science in biology, is certified to teach yoga to both children and adults, has been a tour guide in the United States and western Canada for over 12 years, and is a wilderness first responder.

Deborah Lapkin

Iyengar yoga has taught her to look beyond the outer physical layers and explore the inner layers of mind energy and spirit. It develops strength, stamina, concentration, coordination, flexibility, and more. Using physical alignment as a starting point, Iyengar yoga encourages the spread of intelligence throughout the body, the growth of self-awareness, and an experience of the asanas as a form of meditation in action.

Meghan Ruiz

Meghan Ruiz is known for her creative, challenging intelligently sequenced classes that honor the importance of the fundamental asanas and alignment along with the meditative qualities of Vinyasa flow. She loves using the fundamentals to create a foundation for the understanding of the asanas that empower students to safely explore more advanced postures such as inversions and arm balances.

Lauri Glenn

Lauri believes that we all have a purpose in this life, in yoga called svadharma, that is unique to each of us. The world needs you, urges you to heed the call of your svadharma. Lauri's purpose on this journey through life and with the work or teachings she shares is to offer a safe and welcoming path Home. A path home to the self, with love and acceptance. A path home to the sangha, a welcoming, supportive community. A path home to spirit, the essential nature of equanimity and grace. Deanna Kay

Deanna found yoga whole-heartedly in 2009. During this time, she traveled to India and began practicing various forms of yoga: Hatha, Ashtanga, Kundalini accompanied by an array of meditation techniques. When she returned to the states, she began her studies in Anusara yoga with Ashleigh Sergeant and Siri Peterson.

Liz Broscoe

Liz Broscoe or Drumchik, an accomplished performer and educator, specializes in bringing diverse groups together through rhythm. Drumming has been her life's work for more than three decades. Liz is a creative facilitator of drum circles for classes, team building, leadership, empowerment, university workshops, wellness retreats, and special events. Her personal and professional mission is to encourage and inspire others, through drumming, to be their very best. It’s easy because drumming always brings out the very best within you!


Katabliss is a multi-genre DJ or producer and Sonic artist who represents the earth through melodic mystery and grounding sounds. After the many years of festivals and global exposure, he has tuned in his deep passion for harmonically aligned music and magical dance rhythms to offer DJ services that unite sound, music, and movement. Katabliss believes that people are in the midst of an exciting time for music and dance. He is excited an honored to be on the ride and offer his talents and passion at RAY.
