Happy Buddha Retreats use beautiful country style garden cottages located in Wisemans Ferry. You have a choice of twin share rooms with upgrades available to single rooms. If you would like your own room, do not hesitate to ask Happy Buddha Retreats.

Retreat overview

If you are new to yoga or meditation practices, learning in a yoga retreat provides you with the best way to start. If unsure whether a yoga retreat is suitable for you, please inquire for guidance. Relaxation is a goal and towards that end meditation and yoga retreats are structured to give you the tender attention you would expect from an exclusive vacation resort. We just remove all the noise and cost associated with crowded resorts.

Yoga weekend retreats include scenic bush-walks, wonderful food and lovely accommodations. This is your time and we intend to make the best of it to develop your meditation or yoga practice, as well as to pamper you with personal attention.

    The pain and stress relief that Athill derived from his yoga practice resulted in him feeling a deep spiritual yearning to share its wonderful benefits, eventually leading to the establishment of the Happy Buddha Retreats. You sometimes find that life's trials and tribulations bear unexpected fruit and lead you on paths that you would never have chosen had these challenges not reared their ugly heads. In Athill's case, the catalyst was the lower back pain he once suffered. Yoga is far more than a number of asanas but a holistic system encompassing not just physical but also mental practices.

    Fabulous experience

    PROS Pros: Fantastic, warm and caring teachers, and a great group of people to undergo the experience with. Food was amazing, and an especially nice touch was having an open fire in our cabin.

    NSW Yoga Retreat - Easter Weekend

    CONS Cons: Perfect! Wasn't disappointed by anything.

    PROS Pros: I loved everything about the weekend. You taught me new meditation techniques, I got to try different yoga styles and I was so grateful I could eat everything that was offered (my diet means I struggle to eat when away from home). The retreat calmed my overbearing thoughts so I can't thank you enough.

    "Being a part of the Happy Buddha Retreat team as a cook has been a joy and pleasure. Highlights include the beautiful bush location right near the beach, nourishing foods, restorative yoga and fun activities.
