Greetings dear valued guests. This package is exclusive for persons who have contacted Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat before and their friends and family. You may add optional detox and clonic services as well.
You will be staying at Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat in Pokhara, Nepal, near the lakeside, the tourist zone with restaurants, entertainment, and lake for swimming but far enough from the busy city to create a quiet natural setting and easy walk to the beautiful Seti River Canyon.
One room called Mountain view because it has a view of the mountains that can be seen while the guest is in bed. Two rooms are simply called Guest room one and Guest room two, both have access to a balcony with mountain view. All rooms have one double bed and one single bed.
Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat offers an optional session in pranayama breathing practice at 6:00 a.m. Also, they offer acupressure and Swedish style massage at 10 USD per hour. Every morning, they will take you on an amazing walk down into the gorgeous Seti River Canyon where you can do yoga, meditate, and swim. You may also spend a day at a four-star hotel where they have a solar-heated swimming pool, amazing views of the Lake Fewa and the Lakeside tourist area down below, and great dining.
Just a short walk from the retreat, you may want to escape into the natural beauty of the Seti River Canyon. It is an ideal place to meditate, practice yoga, swim, or just chill and absorb the high vortex of energy this canyon emits. Also nearby is the famous International Mountain Museum.
The Lakeside district of Pokhara offers a wealth of activities, international, local and ethnic restaurants, entertainment, contemporary and traditional music, and dance, a brand new sports arena and gym, lake view dining, world-class paragliding, bungy jumping, rafting, swimming, mountain trekking and biking, and even a modified Disneyland.
It's a rapidly growing tourist destination to answer the whims of adults, children, nightlife, extreme sports, and alternative health and spiritual pursuits such as yoga and meditation, with various religious attractions and temples where you will find Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, and Muslim folks all in harmony with each other.
Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat takes their guests to nearby waterfalls, swimming locations, and tourist attractions if desired at an additional minimal cost. There are many activities that they can provide bookings for such as paragliding, river rafting, trekking, mountain biking, and much more.
The retreat is just a 45-minute walk to lakeside or a short taxi ride for only 300 to 400 Nepali Rupees, yet far enough away from this activity to maintain a quiet, peaceful, nourishing connection with nature. The retreat is very close to the awesome beauty of the Seti River Canyon small colourful family gardens.
Guests often express feeling a warm homestay ambience and enjoy connecting with the friendly neighbours in a non-commercial environment. The neighborhood is like a small mountain village with the feeling of the authentic Nepali culture.
There are a few family restaurants serving the local menu and some mom and pop shops selling essential convenient snacks, beverages, and supplies. There will never be more than nine guests and often there will be less, which adds to the individual attention and mellow healing attention you will receive at the retreat. The famous amazing International Mountain Museum is a short walk from our retreat. most guests find it a very special attraction.
Albert is a resident volunteer therapist at Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat. He loves to engage the guests in lively meaningful chats. With 30 years of world travel, he has many stories to share. He is a psychotherapist, meditation teacher, massage therapist, and holistic health practitioner. Albert is experienced in detox and meditation practice and an expert in guiding people through lifestyle changes and internal cleansing and fasting programs. He shares yoga and Qigong with beginner yoga students. Albert is 77 years young and started doing yoga at 50. If he can do it so can you.
What makes Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat's location special is that we are in a neighborhood that is very much like a farm village surrounded by rice fields and the foothills of the Annapurna mountains, and yet they are a short walk, bus trip or taxi to Pokhara cities Lakeside tourist district and all parts of Pokhara City and surrounds.
This allows their guests to experience a village life style and get to know their friendly neighbors and the warm Nepali culture, and also enjoy fine restaurants and nightlife. They are also close to the amazing Seti River canyon, where you can swim most of the year. It is a great place for chilling in nature, watching the eagles catch fish and occasionally seeing hundreds of monkeys passing by on their search for food.
The dinner is not included on the last day.
You may choose activities during the afternoon free time or if you like to take more time our we can adjust the days schedule to fit your request.
Activities in the immediate area include the International Mountain Museum, a walk to Lake Fewa and lakeside tourist area, bungy jumping, walks into the amazing Seti River Canyon, Davies Falls, Bat caves and more. More involved activities include paragliding, river rafting, kayaking, swimming in the river or lake or hotel swimming pools.
We may arrange to take you to a waterfall, high mountain villages, Temples and historical attractions, art galleries, local migrant Tibetan villages, dining out and dancing in Lakeside, bicycling, amusement parks, zip line, and more.
Optional full or partial body massage, reflexology, life coaching, hypnosis, reike, private yoga instruction, detox guidance and natural health consultations/therapies and shamanic rituals are available at 15 USD/hour.

Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). From Kathmandu, you can fly to Pokhara city through Pokhara Airport (PKR) on several domestic airlines. Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat recommends Yati and Buddha airlines for about 125 USD. It is about a half-hour flight from the airport. The location is very close to Pokhara Airport (PKR). You can walk to the retreat in about 30 minutes or take a taxi for about 300 NPR or 3 USD.
This is easy for you to just take a cab and tell them to go to the Mountain Museum and call Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat or use your smartphone, go to Google maps, and find Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat. Show the map to the taxi driver and you will come right to the retreat. If there are any problems, call them.
Nepal's airport is open and visa on arrival is available again; however, please check the latest information with your travel agent as conditions are constantly changing.
To save money, Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat recommends Blue Sky Bus from Kathmandu to Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat. The bus ride will cost about 7 USD. The trip is six hours depending on weather and traffic. It is a very scenic trip and a great way to introduce you to Nepal. The location is very close to the airport and the tourist bus station. You can walk to the retreat in about 30 to 45 minutes or take a taxi for about 300 NPR or 3 USD.
