You will be staying in a comfortable accommodation with a beautiful yoga hall, and air-conditioned rooms with attached bath provided by Himalayan Yoga Retreat and Ayurveda Center.



Upon completion of this course, you will receive internationally recognized "Yoga Alliance International" certificate on Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Training.


Meditation becomes easy if it is practiced with clear knowledge of the concept of meditation, the philosophy on meditation from the ancient scriptures, the tools for meditating, and the benefits of meditation, such as physical benefits, therapeutic benefits, and spiritual benefits.

In this teacher training course, you will learn to meditate step by step with proper knowledge, using the correct tools gradually. You cannot forcibly do the meditation without any knowledge about meditation - knowledge guides your mind. This course is an education program and not merely trying to forcefully meditate. It will teach you how to meditate and also train you how to teach others. Everyone can meditate if learned and practiced systematically as an education program. In addition, you will be trained by qualified and experienced teachers from India having wide experience in teaching Meditation in many other countries.

Meditation methods / techniques in different physical positions

Generally, meditation is considered difficult, especially by young and western students because they are not used to sit for a long period. However, meditation is a process of mind control. Therefore, with proper knowledge, it can be easily practiced in various physical positions such as sitting, lying, standing, walking, dancing, and doing asana while traveling, working, etc. Mind can be controlled in all these physical positions using proper tools. In this teacher training course, you will be trained to meditate in all these different physical positions. Whichever physical position suits you, you can choose one or more positions to meditate.

  • The schedule is subject to change. Above programs are conducted every month through the year from first to fourteenth except in April.

Please note that no children are allowed during this retreat.

This teacher training course is located in the temple city of Siem Reap, Cambodia. The Himalayan Yoga Retreat Center is located by the Siem Reap River and close to the world famous Angkor Wat temple. Meditation sessions will be held at the school and retreat center, riverside, lawns, temples and pagodas, mountains,and Lotus farms and lake.
