Visit Peru and Bolivia for an initiatory journey to the gates of multidimensionality! On this guided tour, you will get to visit the famous Machu Picchu and take part in four ancestral ceremonies with mother Ayahuasca medicine in various sacred sites. You will spend 12 nights in various accommodations across Peru and Bolivia as follows: two nights at a hotel at Isla del Sol, two nights at a hotel in Puno, three night hosted by a local in Raqchi, two nights at a hotel in Aguas Calientes, and three more nights at a hotel in Cusco.
Huamanwasi Ashram is a space where everyone can choose a retreat according to their needs, with or without the ingestion of plants. The goal of working with teachers and ancestral plants is to create a bridge between material three-dimensional and multidimensional reality that cannot be expressed otherwise. The higher self penetrates everything, but as it needs your efforts to find the access point.
Taking contact with those multidimensional planes inside yourself is the first goal of your exploration during the ceremonies with mother Ayahuasca and other master plants.
The second goal can be reached through yoga and meditation which can align your ego to these new pieces of information so that you can accept to experience everything in the non-linear, non-segmented space of your holographic world.
Diets and isolation in direct contact with nature give your ego time to absorb, digest, and then to embody those energies of expansion and direct knowledge, that you have forgotten because of your education has been forgotten.
Together, these practices allow you to create a sacred space of celebration and harmony with mother earth, and thus to recover and strengthen your relationship with the universal laws, while awaking the wisdom of your inner teacher. Purifying your mind, physical body, and emotions like this brings you closer to your right of birth which is the freedom of your consciousness, happiness, and a joyful life, connected to the source of universal love.
In quechua, Ayahuasca means "liana of death and spirits". This is a visionary master plant, known for millennia by the medicine men of Amazon and used to diagnose and cure diseases. It represents the feminine energy (which in yoga is your vital power base: the Kundalini).
This powerful and beautiful brew is composed of two ingredients, namely the liana ayahuasca (Banisteriopsis Caapi) and the chakruna leaves (Psychotria Ciridis). The benefits of this ancient medicine include:
Mother Ayahuasca is not a psychedelic drug, since it does not produce dependency whatsoever. Instead, it opens a large therapeutic research space where you can clarify and deepen your conscious state. Recognized by the Peru Ministry of Health, these ancient medicinal techniques of detoxification, purification, and emotional release do not imply any dependency.
Consider arriving at Juliaca-Puno one to three days before the trip begins, on October 30 or 31, to give your body time to adapt to the change in altitude. Regardless of the date you arrive, you must be at the hotel in Puno at 9 a.m. on November 1. Please note that if you arrive late on the day of the appointment, after 9 a.m., you will have to join the group on your own on la Isla del Sol. You can also extend your stay after the trip with a diet and other ceremonies, or simply to rest.
You will meet your guides at the Plaza Mayor Hotel in Puno at 9 a.m. at the latest. You will depart on bus towards Copacabana, where you will cross the border, then take a boat for la Isla del Sol, in the south of Titicaca Lake. You will spend the night at the hotel on la Isla del Sol.
You will take part in the first ceremony at la Isla de la Luna, then spend the night at the hotel on la Isla del Sol.
Depart early in the morning in order to return to Puno; then, spend the night at the hotel in Puno.
The second ceremony will take place in the archaeological pre-Inca site of Sillustani. You will overnight at the hotel in Puno.
You will depart early in the morning on the bus towards Raqchi. At night, you will be hosted by a local.
The third ceremony will be held on the archaeological Inca site known as the Wiracocha Temple. At night, you will again be hosted by a local.
Today, you will take an excursion to the archaeological site of Machupitumarca, and spend one more night hosted locally.
Rise early to catch the bus towards Ollantaytambo that departs at 7:30 a.m. You will then take the train for Aguas Calientes, and spend the night at a hotel there.
You will visit the Machu Picchu Sanctuary and meditate there. Weather permitting, you will also visit the Huayna Picchu Sanctuary. The night will be spent at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Depart at 8 a.m. on the train for Cusco. Once there, you will have the day all to yourself to relax and explore the area. You will sleep at a hotel in Cusco.
The fourth ceremony will be held at the Quillarumiyoc Temple, dedicated to the moon, some 50 kilometers from Cusco. You will again spend the night at the hotel in Cusco.
Today, you will have the last therapeutic circle of experience, then have a free day to spend however you like.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cusco airport.
During the retreat, you will visit several places such as Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna on Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu Sanctuary and Huayna Picchu Sanctuary, Machupitumarca, which is an archaeological site, Quillarumiyoc Temple, Sillustani, an archeological pre-Inca site, and Wiracocha Temple, which is an Inca site.
Please note the visit to the Huayna Picchu Sanctuary will only take place if the climatic conditions allow it.
Yoga teacher, practitioner of Body-Mind Centering, and somatic educator, Romulo was introduced to shamanic rituals and the use of medicinal plants in Amazonian Peru and Brazil. During his many travels, he received the inspiration and teachings of different groups ayahuasqueros (healers). For eight years, he also participated in Santo Daime rituals, a spiritual movement that uses the Brazilian ayahuasca as a sacrament. Romulo combines his work in Peruvian vegetalist energetic medicine with the devotion of the Brazilian ayahuasca (Brazilian rituals) and the songs of India.
Emilio practices yoga from a young age and initiated psychology, biodanza, and shamanic rituals through the knowledge received from the plants of the rainforest. For over 20 years, he has explored medical vegetalist teachings, sharing them between Peru, Argentina, and France. Teacher and trainer of Kundalini yoga, and shamanic emcee, Emilio combines in his teachings the traditional knowledge of India and the Amazon, while incorporating the reality of today in a global approach. He believes that freedom and the expansion of consciousness should be the goals of accomplishing spiritual work.
This retreat will take place in Peru and Bolivia, in the various sacred sites of Lake Titicaca, Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna, Puno, Sillustani, and Raqchi and Cusco. Cusco is situated at an altitude of 3500 meters, while both Puno and the Titicaca Lake are at 4000 meters, which means your body will need some time to adapt.
Breakfast is included in the price on most days, except on days five, six, and seven when you will be hosted by a local. Meals will include poultry and fish, but not other types of meat.
On days ten and twelve, you will be free to explore Cusco on your own.
