For eight years, he also participated in Santo Daime rituals, a spiritual movement that uses the Brazilian ayahuasca as a sacrament. Romulo combines his work in Peruvian vegetalist energetic medicine with the devotion of the Brazilian ayahuasca (Brazilian rituals) and the songs of India.
Emilio practices yoga from a young age and initiated psychology, biodanza, and shamanic rituals through the knowledge received from the plants of the rainforest.
