A Soulful Women Retreat to inspire and nurture your feminine soul and to give yourself the gift of your own presence. A retreat to move from your inner truth and authenticity and flow on the natural rhythms of your body, creativity, spirit and soulful woman inside of you. We will manifest and join our sacred feminine energy through Chakra Flow Yoga, creative journaling, mantra's and sound healing, meditations and Ayurvedic Yoga massage.
Island Yoga's base is Ulmer’s Nature Lodge in Tha Khao village, a quiet beachfront resort run by Ning and her ever-smiling crew of family and friends who put their heart and soul into making your stay special.
Island Yoga has four types of accommodations to choose from. For the cost-conscious traveler, there are dorm beds and private rooms in the budget house. The comfort bungalows are more spacious with a fan, hot shower, and mosquito net while the AC bungalows add a little more luxury to the retreat experience. When the Nature Lodge is full, guests can stay in one of the nearby lodges, which is a few minutes’ walk from the yoga shala. All the resorts used are of a similar standard to the Nature Lodge and all are situated either on the beach or a one-minute walk from the beach.
This bungalow is a fully furnished bungalow that includes air-conditioning, hot shower, and mosquito net.

You will be guided daily through an inner journey to meet the Sacred Feminine, the Wild Woman Who Runs with the Wolves, or one of the seven sacred goddesses of the feminine psyche in you. Mantras are powerful tools to transform and heal on the subconscious level and create powerful changes in your belief system, behavioral patterns and manifestations.
Surrounded by the beauty of Mother Earth on this tropical island of Koh Yai Noi, take time daily to meet the ocean and find a personal space for yourself to reflect, journal a tap into your creativity, listen to the voice of your soul, express yourself, expand your horizons, and refine and manifest your path and direction in life. You will receive tools to support this inner journey to re-affirm the aspects of your life and femininity that have been neglected, suppressed or inhibited to make powerful changes in your life.
You will be offered a combination of Partner yoga practices and Ayurvedic yoga massage techniques to awaken the healing qualities you have within. Through the healing power of touch, prana, and connection, you learn to develop relationship qualities such as trust, stability, and openness. This retreat will take place in Koh Yao Noi, which is located in the Phang-Nga bay between Phuket and Krabi. It remains one of the rare gems of South East Asia; an island still largely undiscovered by mainstream tourism with pristine beaches, friendly locals, and outstanding natural beauty. It really is the perfect retreat hideaway.
Plenty of leisure time between our yoga classes allows you to discover the islands’ customs and culture, adventures, and cuisine. You can cruise the spectacular Phang Nga Bay, explore the island by bicycle or scooter, take a Thai cookery class or just relax in the hammock or get a massage. The island is completely safe, the locals are very friendly and polite. It’s remarkable to walk down the main street in the market and see every motor scooter with its key in the ignition!
The local village is called Tha Khao and is a 10-minute walk along the beach from the Nature Lodge.Tha Khao has a ͞sell everything͟ store, food stalls, and an internet cafe. The main road around the island is a 20-kilometer loop. There’s one real town halfway around the loop called ͞the market͟ which has about 1,000 inhabitants. The market has a 7-Eleven, a post office, police station, bank, internet cafes, local and tourist restaurants, clothes shopping, a pharmacy, and an ATM.
You will be provided with daily buffet breakfast. Island Yoga offers muesli with fresh tropical fruits such as papaya, watermelon, pineapple but this depends on the availability of each day. They also provide their homemade yoghurt, milk, and honey including jams and butter for bread plus few types of egg such as fried egg or omelette alternately. If you like, you can try Thai-style food such as fried rice with egg and vegetable, fried noodles with egg and vegetable, and few types of Thai desserts.
