Angela Wilken

Angela is an accredited MBSR teacher. After seeing the benefits that mindfulness brought - being more productive and focused, improved business, and personal relationships, less stress, improved well-being, and the ability to remain calm when dealing with stressful situations, Angela decided to step back from her beauty distribution business and train as a mindfulness teacher. She has since established a bed and breakfast and retreat center, where she now runs a variety of mindfulness programs.

The location was peaceful and tranquil with a lovely bedroom and delicious food.

The Mindfulness Meditation Course was excellent with a good balance of theory, exercises and meditations, which were very relaxing.

Angela and Alistair are wonderful down-to-earth hosts. They welcome you with open arms into their beautiful home. There were three of us staying with them and another five attending the course on a daily basis. All attendees were friendly and interesting. The sessions provided an excellent introduction to mindfulness with on-going support, including meditations, to be provided over the coming weeks. Beautiful cliff tops with stunning views over the sea provide the perfect setting for learning the practice.

I’ve attended a couple of Angela’s Mindfulness sessions now & feeling new sense of bliss and calm! I leave with a reinforced ability to be fully present, aware of where I am and what I’m doing, and not to be overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around me. Toadhall is the perfect venue, a tranquil and peaceful space with the welcoming fireplace. Angela has a wonderful soothing voice perfect for guided mindful meditation, the hour just flies - Looking forward to next week’s session!

I attended an Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop today with Angela and WOW. I haven’t felt this good, positive or calm in a long time and I’ve definitely come away with a new found way of thinking already. I’m looking forward to putting the techniques to use. Introduction to Mindfulness with Angela was really special. From the moment you set foot in Toadhall you know you are in for a treat. The setting and Angela's warm way made for a wonderful afternoon of Meditation and Relaxation. The break for Tea and Cake was added bonus (I need the recipe for that cake).
