Toadhall is a boutique bed and breakfast and self-catering apartment are situated in a secluded hamlet with some of the most stunning coastal scenery, yet only 10 minutes drive away from the vibrant city of Aberdeen and five from the coastal town of Stonehaven. Toadhall offers exceptional accommodation to both leisure and business travelers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Stroll along the cliff tops to a shingle beach, listen to the sound of the sea, or just use the peace and quiet to work. Wi-Fi is free.

They offer a variety of twin or double rooms and they also have a self-contained studio apartment - all with onsite parking. A warm welcome awaits you at Toadhall. They offer the usual home comforts of comfy beds, fluffy towels, and scrupulously clean accommodation plus some unusual extras such as eggs from their own hens, resident peacocks, two geese, and a cockerel called Franco.

The studio

This is a large open space that can comfortably sleep three in single beds and has a kitchen area, seating, and dining area. Great space to enjoy with friends.

Peacock room

Twin or double room with seating area and a large bathroom with bathtub and shower which is shared with the partridge room.

Partridge room

The partridge room can be made up of a twin or a large double. The large bathroom is shared with the peacock room. Ideal for a solo traveler or two friends traveling together.

Pheasant room

This room can be made up of a twin or king bed. Ideal for a couple, friends traveling together, or solo travelers. It has double aspect windows with a view of the garden and courtyard.

Program

Mindfulness Energy has created a powerful program that will enable you to manage your emotions more effectively through mindful thoughts and start cultivating self-kindness and compassion. It will help free you from obsessive thoughts and anxiety to develop greater inner peace and calm.

Daily schedule

Day one

  • 14:00 Arrival, time to settle in, and relax or go for a walk along the clifftops
  • 18:00 Mindfulness meditation, if arriving later this meditation will be done after dinner
  • 19:30 Dinner

Days two, three, and four

  • 08:00 Breakfast
  • 10:00 - 16:00 Mindfulness workshops, walks in nature, meditations with breaks for lunch, and refreshments
  • 19:00 Dinner

Day five

  • 08:00 Breakfast
  • 10:00 - 12:30 Mindfulness workshop including a walk in nature
  • 13:00 Hearty lunch before heading home

Arrival by train

There is a tram station right by Edinburgh Airport (EDI) terminal which will take you to Haymarket railway station. From here, you can catch a train to Stonehaven, where Mindfulness Energy will arrange a complimentary pick-up for you.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
