Floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views of the surrounding gardens which are set on different levels. There are two intimate tropical gardens with small lawns and plenty of seating to relax. Steps and paths take you to a woodland glade surrounded by sounds of the babbling brook below.

Beautiful cosy bedrooms overlook the gardens and surrounding woodland. A delightful garden studio is the location for the mindfulness meditation and yoga sessions.

Program

This is your retreat and all activities are optional. Obviously the more you are able to take advantage of these activities, the more results you will achieve. Nourish Retreat believes you will return home feeling refreshed after a weekend of reconnecting to yourself and making new friends.

The sessions are fun and suitable for beginners. You'll get to experience mindfulness for extended periods of time, such as 'the gift'.

The gift

On Sunday, you will experience a half-day silent retreat, where you will take part in activities such as a woodland walk, eating your meals, guided meditation, and mindful movement exercises. This brings an incredible sense of awareness and some people can have profound experiences. It is called 'the gift' because it is a gift to yourself of time and focus.

Included excursions

Cycle the camel trail

You will cycle a scenic, flat trail to the picturesque harbour of Padstow with time to enjoy the art galleries and pretty shops, and perhaps a cream tea or drink at one of the waterside bars with beautiful views across to Rock. It is approximately 45 minutes each way.

Beach walk

Enjoy a beautiful walk across any one of the stunning beaches in the area, just a short drive away.

Evening meal at a local restaurant

Celebrate your last evening with new friends.

Location

The Orchard Air is situated between the picturesque harbour of Padstow and Rock. It is just a 10-minute walk from the pretty village of Wadebridge and surrounded by seven stunning beaches.

The Wadebridge train station is a convenient 10 minutes' walk, and Bodmin Parkway station gives a direct route from London Paddington in four hours.

Food

You will enjoy an evening meal on the night of arrival, three meals a day on Saturday and Sunday (including one evening meal in a local restaurant, except for drinks), plus snacks and drinks, and breakfast on the day of departure.

Wadebridge train station is just 10 minutes away and Bodmin Parkway station is direct from London in 4 hours.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 16.94% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 60 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 60 days before arrival.
