Meditation and Yoga Retreat France

Give yourself a retreat where you step away from your normal routine and learn to tune into your authentic self-staying in a superb French Manor House. Learn to deepen your yoga practice with daily progression and begin to listen, communicate and be curious on the mat. Be willing to open and challenge yourself and with each breath know where your intention is being placed.

The spacious and comfortable bedrooms are situated both in the main house - which has Superior rooms all en-suite and two twin room that share a shower room - and also in the three attached cottages. They feature a further two Superior rooms with private terraces and some Standard rooms.

Heart opening practices will guide you to develop this sharpening consciousness, create sincere enquiry and be grounded in your aliveness. Over 7 days you will get to practice and experience a range of yoga practices, techniques, breathing practice, meditation and deep relaxation.

Yoga and meditation class

There will be two yoga classes a day. The daily practice will involve energizing, nourishing and restorative yoga and we will even have a go at partner yoga. Yoga takes place in an amazing new geodesic dome measuring 11 meters in diameter, which is situated behind the chlorine-free swimming pool. It has a wonderful view over the expansive countryside of the Charente-Maritime. There will be optional silent walks and guided Meditation lessons.

Visioning and intention workshops

You will discover you already have an amazing life beneath your nose and you will learn to live more fully. You will spend time on the visualization, manifesting of dreams, and then aligning with those intentions.

Free time

There will time for chilling, walking, swimming and explore the beautiful surroundings of the countryside around Les Logis Des Quatre Puits House. On Wednesday, there will be a trip into the local town for a meal.

Based near Bordeaux, France and set in 74 acres of unspoiled woodland, open fields and bordered by a small river, parts of the Logis de Quatre Puits - the 'Place of the Four Wells' - dates back to the 15th century, but there has been a dwelling on the site for more than 1,200 years. For the next chapter in its history - and in collaboration with the owners of Les Passeroses Retreat Centre - Les Quatre Puits will be opening it doors to yoga groups this year.

A sumptuous vegetarian menu is provided, all home cooked, using seasonal produce grown in the house garden kitchen, herb gardens and orchard, along with market bought organic goods when and if available. Aside from the delicious three meals a day, there will be fruit and drinks available with chai tea and tiffin served daily at 15:30.

On Wednesday, you will give Alex and Adrian, the owners, a break by popping into the local town to sample the local culture and enjoy a meal.


Food and drinks on Wednesday are not included.

Spa treatments are available onsite. Prices range from 35 to 70 EUR. Payments are in cash term.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Bordeaux-Mrignac Airport (BOD) or Bergerac Dordogne Prigord Airport (EGC).

Airport transfer assistance can be arranged at an additional cost.

Arrival by train

You should aim to arrive at Angouleme Rail Station however you decide to travel. From there, Omkari Yoga can arrange to transfer you to the centre and back again.

She has a vast knowledge of the practice of hatha yoga and how bodies work.nIt is the best combination.     "I participated in a few yoga classes during my stay at the Sandele Eco-retreat in The Gambia. First time doing yoga and it was an amazing experience and feeling. In addition to this, it has helped within the first session reveal a chronic leg and knee pain I have had for more than 3 years. I believe the stretches helped reveals my muscle tension as I suffer from piriformis syndrome and a tight IT band. Definitely would recommend and a big thank you to Debbie for this!"

    "I use yoga to manage chronic pain, and will try to get to as many classes of Debbie's I can in the week. Her classes are consistently helpful, challenging and relaxing on every level and her music is diverse and a pleasure to listen too, her chants close each lesson beautifully too.
