How the retreat works

There are 10 live sessions of one and a half hours each within five days from Monday to Friday. Morning sessions start at 10:00 (EEST), 08:00 (British Summer Time). Evening sessions start at 20:00 (EEST), 18:00 (British Summer Time)

Monday

  • Session 1: Welcome, intro to Zen yoga philosophy, theory, and practice
  • Session 2: Intro to mindful meditation, philosophy, theory and practice, discussion Q&A

Tuesday

  • Session 1: Energizing yoga practice
  • Session 2: Yoga Nidra theory, setting intention and Sankalpa, discussion and practice

Wednesday

  • Session 1: Gentle awakenings yoga practice featuring calming Qi
  • Session 2: Mountain meditation, discussion

Thursday

  • Session 1: Gentle awakenings yoga practice featuring Kinhin, Reido, and crane walking
  • Session 2: Evening Zen yoga featuring moon salute, theory and practice

Friday

  • Session 1: Energizing yoga practice with calm abiding meditation
  • Session 2: Restorative yoga, theory and practice, Q&A

Your choice of music for Reido practice

During our online retreat together you will have a short Reido session. Reido is spontaneous yoga. This is best done with a piece of music that moves and inspires you. Take a little time to consider what that piece of music may be for you. Let them know the piece of music you have chosen so that they can prepare it for your Reido session.
