This award-winning Ayurveda and yoga retreat center offers you a course on the Foundations of Ayurveda. The course is conducted by university-qualified Ayurveda doctors and the retreat center is set in line with Ayurveda principles teaching the Ayurvedic lifestyle in all aspects of its operation. The hotel villa is a colonial home, approximately 150 years old. It was the house of the village chief and it now converted to consist of a living room, dining hall, veranda, and open living area all renovated at the end of 2015.
The property consists of the main villa and the lodge, each about a 2-minute walking distance from each other. The lodge is the original house of the first occupier of this colonial treasure. With time, their son built a bigger home to house his expanding family, that is the villa.
The villa consists of 8 rooms (2 Suite rooms and 6 Deluxe rooms), dining hall, lounge, verandahs, and spa. The lodge consists of 6 Standard rooms and an open verandah. Both the villa and the lodge were renovated at the end of 2015 and are decorated in a contemporary colonial style in keeping with the age of the property and to meet the comforts and modern needs of the guest. The rooms are beautifully completed with luxury bathrooms.
This retreat is a community center and is run by villagers and profits of the center will be used to fund a variety of charity projects ranging from community development, wild life conservation, and environmental preservation. Daily morning and evening yoga classes are conducted by the resident yoga teachers and classes are tailored to be suitable for beginners as well as advanced practitioners.
Guided walks in the village and around the plantation are included in the package.

All meals / food prepared are according to Ayurvedic guidelines and principles and most of the food comes from the center's own gardens and the surrounding forest. Meals are nutritionally balanced and delicious. The majority of the food is grown on the property in the surrounding gardens which guests are welcome to see and partake in harvesting.
