Join us for a relaxing and inspiring week of yoga, mindfulness, and community by the Mediterranean Sea. We will practice morning yoga & meditation and enjoy a second practice in the late afternoon. You will have plenty of time to relax, swim, explore the surroundings, or take a Spanish siesta by the beach. Whether you have never stepped on a yoga mat or you are an enlightened yogi, we will welcome you wholeheartedly! This year our yoga holiday will have a special focus on the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and its relationship to yoga.
Our yoga holiday takes place in a beautiful family home, overlooking the small town of L'Estartit, in Catalonia, Spain.
The house is at walking distance to the beach, has sea views from its many balconies and a swimming pool overlooking the valley.
The house has 7 bedrooms, some with double beds and some with twin beds. There is a spacious living room and kitchen where we can prepare our meals together and plenty of space to socialise or be by yourself.
Our yoga holiday home overlooks the national park of El Montgri, covering a land area of 6,155.20 hectares and a marine protected area of 2,036.99 hectares. You can go for day hikes in the forest, starting right from our door step.
L'Estartit is a small town on the north-eastern coast of Spain. The town is situated between the foothills of the Montgrí Massif and the Mediterranean Sea, and is part of Girona province, Catalonia.
L'Estartit has it all: fine sand beaches that stretch out over more than 5km, peaceful coves accessible by foot or by boat and spectacular cliffs along the coast line.
Whether you like diving, swimming, hiking, biking, sailing or kayaking, all of these activities are possible in l'Estartit.
Following our morning yoga practice, we will prepare and enjoy delicious healthy breakfasts together.
Since we all might do different activities during day, lunch is open and up to you. You can either cook in the house, have picnic on the beach, or check out one of the near-by eateries.
In the evening, we have the option of visiting a local restaurant to enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine and/or take turns preparing meals for the group in small teams. We allow the evening meals to unfold as the group comes together, deciding as a group when to cook, what to eat and when to eat out. We'll practice mindfulness whilst cooking, clearing the table and washing dishes.
Breakfast is included in the investment price, lunch and dinner are at your own cost.

Sylvain's journey with healing modalities began in 2006 in New Caledonia. As an engineer, he felt unfulfilled in his working life with a push to explore new fields of possibility. After first discovering the energetic world through Reiki and Qigong, Sylvain was inspired to travel to Thailand where he would be introduced to his new life path, the Art of Thai Massage.
Sylvain has studied several styles of Thai Massage, from the strongest to the most subtle approaches with great masters in Thailand. His practice was significantly enriched in 2012 when he learned and incorporated OsteoThai, the integration of osteopathic principals to the art of Thai Massage. Sylvain continues to study and expand his extensive collection of techniques. He currently teaches Thai Massage in France, assists his teacher David Lutt in Dynamic Thai Massage and Osteothai courses, and is presently a student in an advanced practitioner training called The Shen Master Training in Beligum.
Sylvain's treatments take place with the recipient laying on a mat on the floor wearing comfortable clothing. The sacred dance begins as Sylvain uses dynamic techniques of rocking and oscillations to send waves of relaxation throughout your body while improving circulation and mobility in the joints. Sylvain utilizes specific stretches and acupressure suitable to your needs to invite tense muscles to release and let go. Osteopathic techniques assist him to get in touch with potential trauma present in the different layers of body, mind and spirit to free blocked energy. If needed, he will also use a subtle energetic balancing approach to support you to feel aligned mentally and emotionally.
