"The perfect “circuit-breaker” for a busy life"

The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and helped us plan a great stay at Cape Trib. The yoga instruction was clear and comprised of a variety of (mostly) static holds, tailored to different levels of fitness within the group. Food was of a high quality and very tasty, there was always enough for seconds if you so desired! My bedroom was well positioned with a lovely view of the rainforest directly outside it, and a hammock close by on the verandah. Plenty of seating/relaxing space for quiet reflection, meditating or reading. I loved being woken by the sound of birds in the rainforest, and one night I fell asleep listening to tropical rain on the tin roof. After 5 nights at Prema Shanti, I feel like I’ve really pattern-interrupted myself in a great way, slowing down and reconnecting to my yoga and meditation practice. I would definitely recommend this retreat to others.

"Yoga in rainforest paradise"

The beautiful location (rainforest and building) was the perfect setting for a yoga retreat, and the hosts welcomed me and all others with warmth, and understanding. I arrived with intense lower back pain, and lost of work stress, I left with neither, due to the self care and attention that I spent time developing under the care of Janardhan and Mara. The communal breakfasts and dinners were also a lovely chance to get to know my fellow yogis, and added to the overall experience. Highly recommended.

The experience was 5 star, however, if it's a 5 star pamper package you are after, this is not it. The facilities are basic, solar power, tank water, outside toilet and shower, undercover though and friendly frogs:)) Being kind to the environment is wonderful. Starting the day with Meditation and ending with Yoga, dinner and laughs. Great time to be at one with nature, peace and quiet and the beautiful Daintree. Janardyn and Mara are lovely and boy can they cook. Worth a trip to get away from everything.
