During the course, you will stay in an accommodation provided by Rishikesh Yoga Prakash. All the rooms come with attached bathrooms and hot water facility. Each room has a private balcony overlooking the forest. The school has a large sheltered open area for relaxing and reading, with a library containing books for yoga and spirituality. There is also an indoor restaurant as well as an outdoor area which you can use for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

This retreat is conducted by Rishikesh Yoga Prakash, an authentic and certified yoga school. Their internationally experienced teaching faculty is well-trained in teaching all aspects of yoga in a safer and enjoyable environment. The objective of this course is to provide an in-depth understanding of the traditional yoga system, combined with modern yogic methods. Rishikesh Yoga Prakash aims to build an essential foundation for a methodical yoga practice by covering all aspects of yoga.

You will learn all aspects of yoga, including physical, philosophical, therapeutic and preventive aspects of yoga postures, yogic methods of developing healthy breathing habits, yogic cleansing methods for purifications of internal organs, yogic relaxation, breath control techniques with essential energy locks, improved concentration techniques, meditation with essential yoga anatomy, physiology, and yoga philosophy.

Flexibility and strength are not prerequisites for beginners. Yoga is not a competition and thus there should be no struggle in a true yoga practice. The journey of yoga can start at any age, with any health condition. In order to gain deeper benefits from yoga, you must continue with a regular practice of yoga, as said by Saga Patanjali in Patanjali Yoga Sutra.

    Prakash is a native of Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga. For over 10 years, he studied at many India's most illustrious yoga schools and under renowned yoga masters Shri O.P. Tiwari and Swami Rama. In that time, he gained deep knowledge and insight into yogic philosophy through the study of various traditional texts on Hatha and Raja yoga, Vedic scriptures, and modern science. While he has a deep knowledge of various yoga techniques, he specializes in yoga postures, yogic breathing patterns, deep relaxation methods, pranayama, yogic Sukshma Vyamas, and meditation.

The yoga course will take place in Rishikesh, India. It is located in a highly elevated region in a thick reserve forest area at the foothills of Mount Himalaya, with a clear view of Ganga River. The very quiet surrounding and location of this area also embodies tranquility and relaxation, where most people choose to do yoga and meditation to calm their nerves and rejuvenate themselves.
