During the retreat, you will stay in ecolodge Errante and go camping near one of the beautiful lakes.
The adventure begins in the southernmost town of Chile, Puerto Williams in the mythical Cape Horn in Tierra del Fuego. The ways to reach the place are multiple. You can take a ferry that leaves from Punta Arenas on Thursday, January 5th at 6 p.m. Navigation that sails along waterways as Magdalena, Cockburn, and Ballenero to enter the mythical Beagle Canal with a landscape of breathtaking beauty, fjords, ancient glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and wild vegetation.
All this is part of the National Park Alberto de Agostini. Approximate navigation is 30 hours arriving at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 7th to Puerto Williams. You can also arrive by plane from Punta Arenas or sail from Ushuaia.
You will proceed to check in at your comfortable and eco-friendly lodge immersing in the wild vegetation and diverse visitors from the area. Enjoying a delicious dinner accompanied by Chilean wine to welcome you to the most austral town of the planet followed by a break.
From 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., you will practice one yoga restoring session with applied Yin yoga and pranayamas exercises to mend the body and refit it for the next
adventures to come, a passionate voyage to the most austral trekking experience of the world. After that, you will enjoy a delicious lodge breakfast and spend your free time to roam around the lodge or rest if needed. You will have a delicious lodge lunch with fresh produce from the area at 1 p.m.
2 p.m. is the time for private transfers that will take you to Bandera mount to initiate trekking as late as 2:30 p.m. First, crossing a luscious forest ascending up to approximately 600 meters to get to “La Bandera” where you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Robalo River valley to the right side view, you can
appreciate woods and dykes leading to arrive at their final destination, the Beagle Canal, and onto the other side, the other extreme view of the south coast of Tierra del Fuego.
Right in front of your eyes, you can witness mounts, snow patches, and dozens of lakes covering the hills at different levels. To the left side view, you can appreciate the majestic Navarino Teeth or “Dientes de Navarino” reaching so closely its mountain tops, an awe-striking scenery of pure beauty without any traces of human intervention.
You border continuously the forest and woods to the Río Robalo valley to arrive at the Salto Lake where you will camp. A well-deserved, delicious dinner prepared by the staff will be served from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and then you will take a break.
You will practice Hatha yoga and pranayamas sessions, if weather conditions allow, from 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. followed by a breakfast prepared by the staff. At 9:30 a.m., you will trek to El Paso Australia, bordering the imposing massif from Dientes de Navarino. You continue the route crossing the beautiful lakes and forests area Los Dientes Lake, Escondida Lake, and Hermosa lake among others.
It is in the section where you can appreciate another astonishing scenery, the south side of the island, the Wollaston island, and the mythical Archipelago from “Cabo de Hornos”. Lunch or box lunch will be served around 1:30 p.m. before descending to the Paso Ventarron and then El Guerrico crossings. You continue to stroll to the beautiful Guerrico Valley, to arrive at around 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. very close to Martillo Lake and Zeta lake, where you will find a site to set camp. From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., it is the time for delicious dinner prepared by the staff and then take a break.
From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., you will immerse in Hatha yoga and pranayamas sessions if weather conditions allow. After the breakfast prepared by the staff, at 9 a.m., you will start trekking over the valley up to the starting point of the Paso Virginia, the highest of the circuit. From that view, you can appreciate again the Beagle canal, bordering the beautiful Guanacos Lake to proceed to the pathway until the luscious forests.
After having lunch or box lunch, you will continue the descent to get to two kilometers away from the eco-lodge. It will take about one hour, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., to come back to the eco-lodge, where you can enjoy all of its accommodations and have a well-deserved dinner after having accomplished your challenge adventure. Dinner, of course, will be served with the best Chilean wine.
Restoring Hatha yoga session with couple's yoga exercises and a guided meditation session will be practice from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. On this day, there is the choice of either decide among the activity for all people or separate in different groups to accomplish what you decide to see. The choices are promenading to Los Bronces Lake or Róbalo Mount, both beautiful see sights, kayaking or sailing through the bay, bicycle ride along the creek and Puerto Williams surroundings, rock climbing in equipped rocks, or a cultural activity visiting members of the Yagana community and learn about their traditions and way of living.
At 6:30 p.m., you will practice yoga session with Yin yoga applied exercises and yoga in couples in lodge facilities. 8 p.m. is the time for a delicious farewell dinner at the eco-lodge, enjoying Chilean wine and fresh produce from the area.
You will begin your day at 7:30 a.m. with a yoga session, Vinyasa yoga applied exercises and energized and guided relaxation session followed by a delicious farewell breakfast at the lodge. You will check out and come back home.
Excursion to many beautiful valleys and lakes during your retreat are included in the price.
