As a lifelong adventurer, instructor Sarah Harvie has been leading people on their inner and outer journeys for over fifteen years. This winter, Sarah is back to Mount Engadine Lodge for her yoga mountain adventure retreat. Join her for an exciting retreat with yoga (asana and Nidra), pranayama, meditation, and self-guided cross-country skiing and snowshoeing!
During this holiday, you will be staying in Mount Engadine Lodge. It is a hidden getaway in the pristine Spray Valley Provincial Park. The lodge is located conveniently near Calgary and Canmore Alberta, but you will not believe it when you reach the untouched wilderness that surrounds the creature comforts offered in this beautiful lodge.

For the past 10 years, Sarah has taught yoga and meditation as part of month-long wilderness expeditions in South America, India, and North America. Sarah has been teaching Yoga Alliance-registered yoga teacher training in the Bow Valley for three years. Sarah is a registered massage therapist and a 500-hour trained yoga teacher. Based in Canmore, Sarah has a craniosacral therapy practice at Canmore Health & Wellness Centre and teaches yoga at The Yoga Lounge and Mica Heli Skiing. When not practicing yoga, Sarah can be found instructing for NOLS, backcountry skiing, and whitewater boating.
Mount Engadine Lodge is located at the base of Mount Engadine and Mount Shark in Spray Lakes Provincial Park, Alberta, Canada. The lodge remains the only development in the Spray Valley Provincial Park, and they take that privilege seriously, existing in harmony with their gorgeous surroundings. The meals will be provided for you during this holiday. Overnight stays at Mount Engadine Lodge are all-inclusive, providing guests the opportunity to relax, adventure, and enjoy a number of delicious meals throughout their stay. The lodge prides themselves on using locally sourced ingredients and providing guests with a unique dining experience served in a casual and relaxed setting.
Guests start their day with a two-course breakfast made of ever-changing, seasonal ingredients and are given a custom-made packed lunch to take with them on their outdoor adventure. Following their hike or cross-country ski, guests can return to the lodge for a cozy afternoon high tea.
Wrap up the day with Chef Mandy Leighton who will serve up a family-style dinner service, featuring a plated appetizer, family-style entrees, a selection of vegetable dishes and dessert with locally brewed beer, wine, and spirits. Alcohol, special beverages, and gratuities are not included in the room rate. With advanced notice, they can accommodate all dietary restrictions and preferences.
