Take a break from your daily routines and join Schu Bops on retreat in Tulum, Mexico. Slow down with meditation and movement classes and reconnect with your true self. Spend your days by the pool or on the beach, or rejuvenate yourself with spa treatments. Whatever you do, take it easy. This retreat is perfect for beginners and for those who are new to yoga.
The maximum participants in the group is 12.
During the retreat, you will be staying in a large eco beach villa with five bedrooms, located only a minute from the beach. The villa is perfectly situated to explore the ruins, restaurants, cenotes, and all that Tulum has to offer. There is also a restaurant, pool, and spa available. You may relax in a hammock, get a massage, or lounge by the hotel pool. You have plenty of free time to explore. You can stay in a double room with king or queen size bed or in a twin room (space is limited).
During the retreat, you will experience various styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Nidra, Pranayama, Yin, and meditation. Aren't familiar with those words? No problem! I got you. This retreat is a perfect introduction for those new to yogic life.
Suitable for all levels, classes are meant to be an introduction or deepening experience, depending on the participant. Each day will begin with a different type of physical or meditative yoga, so even if you are experienced in yoga, there is sure to be something new for you to discover here in Tulum.
During this retreat, you will explore Tulum town to experience the local culture and do a bit of shopping. You will also experience taking a dip into a cool blue cenote. You may also roam around ancient ruins and soak in the history of Tulum. There will be plenty of time for any other excursions you would like to experience on your own as well.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Yoga)
Sarah started practicing yoga four years ago after a tough breakup. She soon realized the mental benefits of yoga far outweighed the physical. Yoga is a lifestyle that will elevate you to a higher consciousness and happier state of being. She completed her RYT 200-hour teacher training in Nepal in 2015. Her motivation to teach is because she would like to develop herself and her community. Constantly moving towards the truth, she is striving for total authenticity in all actions and self-acceptance no matter the day's path.
The retreat will take place in Tulum, Mexico. Famous for its sparkling coastlines, jade green water, balmy breezes, and ancient ruins, Tulum will keep you busy yet instill a sense of calm.
During retreat, you will be served breakfast each day as well as two communal dinners. Otherwise, you will munch on street food during the excursions or you can explore local restaurants during your free time.
Beyond movement and meditation classes, as well as the planned excursions, Tulum has a bunch of beachy activities for you to discover and enjoy.
Please book your flight to arrive at Cancún International Airport (CUN). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request. Once Schu Bops know your arrival time, she can arrange transportation for you. If you'd like to share with other retreat guests, it will make your ride a bit cheaper.
