The 100-hour Yin yoga certification program offered by Shree Hari Yoga School is a preparatory course for aspiring yoga teachers seeking a slow introduction to their journey of becoming yoga teachers. This also is available for individuals, who are deeply committed to their yoga practice but do not wish to become teachers. This course includes, asanas, pranayama, yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, mantra, and meditations.
Rooms are available near to the school. They are comfortable, clean, and simple to support the yoga experience and learning. Western toilets and indian toilets attached to rooms. Double rooms and single rooms are available.
Shree Hari Yoga is now offering a unique 100-hour yin yoga teacher training in India. Yin yoga is a practice that has its roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Daoist yoga and western anatomy. Long, static holds in postures help to put a healthy load on the joints, increasing their range of motion while accessing deep layers of connective tissue and fascia in the body.
Yin yoga promotes slowness and self-enquiry and helps you to understand the power of being totally present in your body. It is the perfect antidote for our modern, stressful lives, and the gentle nature of the practice means that it is truly accessible to all.
In this course, you’ll be introduced to the philosophical concepts that underpin the yin yoga practice, as well as studying the traditional yin asanas and learning how to structure and guide a practice yourself.
On Saturday, you will have only half day classes and Sundays are your days off. Use this time to relax, study, and enjoy your surroundings.
Guru Hari was raised by a Nepalese father and Indian mother in a cross-cultural context near Rishikesh. From an early age, Hari rejoiced in and sung mantra. Presently, Guru Hari teaches a traditional Hatha yoga combined with classical knowledge, experiential understanding, and wisdom, as well as a modern outlook. This style of yoga teaching by Guru Hari is essentially a Nath lineage tradition. Guru Hari is also a chef of Ayurvedic food which is known in yogi terminology as sattvic food.
Shree Hari Yoga's sattvic food which they serve to their students is similar to Indian style cooking and varieties. Inclusive of Ayurvedic, vegetarian, and raw options. Good taste and supportive to the yoga experience.
