Dharamsala is famed as the holy residence of the Dalai Lama and houses the Tibetan monk in exile. Dharamsala, the city, is distinctively separated as upper and lower divisions with different altitudes. The lower division is the Dharamsala town itself whereas the upper division is popularly known as Dharamkot, Mcleodganj, and Bhagsu. Dharamsala is considered to be one of the best places to learn and explore yoga, meditation, and spiritual practice.

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Gaggal Airport (DHM). Transfer from and to the airport is included. soShanti Yoga will pick you up from the airport. It is a one-hour drive (33 kilometers) from the center.

Arrival by bus

Please book your bus to arrive at the Dharamshala bus stand (13 kilometers) or Mcleod Ganj (three kilometers) from the yoga center.

Arrival by train

Please book your train to arrive at Pathankot Station (PTK). It is around 90 kilometers from the center, two hours and 40 minutes drive.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
