With expert facilitators and a range of activities, all programs are entirely personalized, making for a tailored experience you’ll never forget.
You will be spending your nights at the Talalla Beach Resort Sri Lanka. All of the attendees have the option of a private or twin share room.
Sing from the treetops, the deluxe first floor rooms get you up and into the jungle canopy. This room is also available without air-conditioning. A beautiful four poster bed, an expansive open-air bathroom, secluded balcony, and a view through the palms make this room a definite repeat guest favorite.
Be sure to bring along your favorite book for an afternoon read on the balcony to wind down from an adventure filled the day of surfing and yoga. The ideal room for anyone who loves open spaces, fresh air, and a beautiful connection to nature.
Nestled on the forefront of the Talalla Retreat grounds are the newest accommodation boasting expansive views of tropical gardens and blue waters of Talalla Beach. Villas located on the ground floor feature authentic Sri Lankan furniture, fabrics, and air conditioning.
Located meters from the beach, the open-air pavilion of the second floor features a private balcony, reading desk, and ceiling fans. All villas have open air bathrooms allowing natural light and providing views of the coconut palms. One Luxury Sea View Villa on the top floor offers a timber paneled ceiling and air-conditioning. This is Talalla’s most luxury villa.
The bungalows are by far the best way to experience all Talalla has to offer on a budget. The beautifully set rooms in a traditional Sri Lankan style bungalow still allow you to have access to Talalla’s beautiful grounds, pool, surf, and yoga facilities (extra charge), whilst still having the privacy offered by a relaxing room.
The bungalow includes a separate living area, front balcony, and kitchen with a shared bathroom. This allows you to experience the Talalla Surf Camp or yoga retreat whilst working around your own budget.
Your retreat begins on Sunday with the teachers introducing you to the program and answering all your questions. A gentle evening yoga session will help you to recover from a day of traveling before you join other retreat participants for your welcome dinner. A beautiful welcome ceremony will tune you into the Talalla vibe.
There will be one surf lesson during the retreat and you will also get to enjoy the relaxation with a complimentary one-hour full body massage by one of the resident massage therapists. You will experience excursions to the local Buddhist temple where you can explore and learn more about the culture.
During the week, you will be immersed in daily classes on yoga, mat Pilates, Boxilates, barre, meditation, writing exercises, and a lot of delicious food and drinks. There will also be a Sri Lankan cooking demo. You can extend your stay for a few more days of relaxation at Talalla or continue your travels in Sri Lanka.
