Rooms and bathrooms during this Ibiza yoga retreat are shared with two or three people. If you prefer a private room, ask The Mountain Ibiza for the possibilities. During this Ibiza yoga retreat, we will aim to create the ideal atmosphere to become quiet enough to look within. By simply looking inwards, you will move beyond what you took yourself to be and become aware of what you are eternally and unconditionally: existence - consciousness - bliss.
To get most out of your Ibiza yoga retreat, you are encouraged to stick to the vegetarian diet and not to drink any alcoholic beverages during this week. This retreat is for people from all levels of yoga and especially for those who wish to have a deeper understanding of the self, your true nature.
Most days look like this:
Welcome at the magical island! Today, your Ibiza adventure starts. After a taxi drive across the island, your final destination for this week is the authentic centuries old finca Can Lotus in the quiet north. Take your time to land, settle down in your room, and meet your fellow yogis. The retreat will start in the evening with a festive garden diner.
Rise and shine. The first day of the retreat is on the sunny horizon! Today, you will be introduced to your daily invigorating morning ritual; a lemon detoxer, sunrise meditation, and a good set of pranayama.
There is a light breakfast afterwards and time to take a shower before you continue with your yoga practice. You will meet on the outdoor yoga platform for a 90 minutes energizing Vinyasa yoga class. A healthy wholesome brunch is waiting for you. Then enjoy some free time at the house or if you are in for some local fun, take a cab (or your rental car) to the organic St. Joan Market, and mingle with the locals.
You will meet in the afternoon for a beautiful walk trough the campo to the nearby beach and enjoy a refreshing swim in the blue sea to cool body and mind down.
After a good night sleep, you will start the day again with your early morning ritual followed by fresh and fruity breakfast. After a short break, get ready for your daily yoga class under the pine trees. You will have lunch with clean, vegetarian food, and in the break there is the opportunity to book a relaxing massage or go for a swim at the popular hippy beach Aquas Blancas. In the afternoon, you will do a relaxed yoga session which allows you to fully surrender and let go.
Today is a day for contemplation and to concentrate on your inner self. The entire day, you will be in silence, no chitchat during the meals or in between classes. Silence helps you to reach a higher level of consciousness and a better understanding of your innermost nature.
You will practice powerful breathing techniques, yoga, and meditation to deepen your silence and gain more clarity as you go along. Use your free time for self-inquiry, rest with a good book, or take a siesta. In the afternoon, you will go for a silent walk to one of the most beautiful and desolated spots of the island where you will enjoy a guided meditation in nature and some free time to go for a deep dive in the sea.
Start your day slowly and relaxed. You will uphold your noble silence for just a little bit longer. Take a few deep breaths and smell the pine scented air, while listening to the sounds of nature all around you. The morning program will be as you are used to by now. After lunch, you will have a group sharing where you officially break your silence and share your experiences and insights with the rest.
In the afternoon, you will have a special yoga class with a focus on Partner yoga. Expect a light and playful yoga session in duos.
Another full day of inspiration on the menu. Drink your lemon detoxer before landing on your yoga mat for the morning meditation, pranayama, and yoga session on the outdoor platform or rooftop. With renewed energy, you will sit down for a peaceful lunch afterwards.
In the afternoon, there will be a Yin class. Holding the yoga poses longer invites you to look deep within. See how the fluctuations of the mind gradually damp out and become aware of the Silence between the thoughts.
After dinner, you will experience the power of chanting together in kirtan style.
Wake up and make yourself ready for your morning routine. This day, you will have the last yoga session of the Ibiza yoga retreat. In this class, you will once more experience the most important pointers on your way to absolute freedom which were presented to you during the week.
In the afternoon, you will go for a meditative hike trough the forest. We will finish this hike at the ancient sanctuary of the Goddess Tanit, where you will ceremonially lay your prayers of love and freedom at her feet. The last evening is for celebration. We dine and dance into the night. Prepare yourself for a natural high!
Today the Ibiza True Nature Yoga Retreat comes to an end. But no need for sadness since every ending promises a new beginning! You will have your last breakfast together and after that you will take a moment to share and thank one another before officially closing the retreat. Hope to see you all back soon.

Laura completed her Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training in 2008 at the Yoga Garden in Amsterdam. After several years of teaching in The Netherlands, she followed her dream and moved to Ibiza to start her own yoga project The Mountain - Ibiza, a place where she combines her love for yoga with living in harmony with nature. Her Slow Flow Vinyasa and Yin yoga classes are deeply relaxing and nurturing. She is your perfect host during the retreat making sure that you feel safe, comfortable and loved. Wouter started his yoga journey 12 years ago. In 2008, he finished his Vinyasa yoga teacher training at Svaha Yoga in Amsterdam. After teaching for 5 years in several renowned yoga schools in Amsterdam, he decided to move to Ibiza to dedicate his time to organizing retreats of healing and Self-discovery. His yoga sessions feature a slow flow of asana’s blended together with beautiful stories that will open you up to the timeless wisdom of the ancient yogi’s.
This Ibiza true nature yoga retreat will take place at Can Lotus, an old, authentic finca on a hilltop in the campo close to the beautiful beach of Cala St. Vincente. Surrounded by nature and with a beautiful sea view, this unique spot is a true paradise.
There are plenty of places around the house to relax and retreat, such as various chill-out terraces and forest. The good vibes in the warmly decorated house will make you feel at home immediately.
