The Quaives, Canterbury, Kent, South East England, England, UK

Relax and Reenergize Hatha & Kundalini Yoga Retreat UK

The Be Radiant Kundalini Yoga Retreats are one of the signature Quaives Retreats where you can relax, be yourself, and try a range of different wellbeing practices that are perfect for beginners and the more experienced. There is something for everyone; yoga, breathwork, meditation, yoga nidra, gong bath, mantra, and deep relaxation. The purpose-built yoga studio is set in the beautiful grounds of The Quaives Estate, in the stunning Kent countryside with easy connections from London with the fast train to Canterbury West. In the classes there are no levels, everyone does what they can and that is all, which means it is open to everyone of all abilities. You will have the chance to experience many different Hatha and Kundalini yoga classes taught by an experienced yoga teacher, as well as free time to enjoy the gardens, soak in the wood-fired hot tub, walks in the countryside and for those that feel very energetic there is the tennis court! They have taken extra measures to ensure safety and cleanliness, and have reduced their capacity to half to allow for social distancing.

An eight-bed adult dormitory has curtain dividers per every two beds for privacy, storage, sheepskin rugs, mirrors and hanging space, three toilets and three showers.

Fuchsia cottage is a three-person cottage. It has two bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds and another with a double bed, a lounge, kitchen, and bathroom.

Yoga studio

The studio itself can comfortably accommodate up to 20 with lots of space plus teachers. It is incredibly light and spacious, and it has underfloor heating throughout. The studio is also available between yoga sessions for silent meditation and time to yourself.

Saloon and kitchen

Everyone eats in the Saloon, a self-contained building next to the studio. It is a Scandinavian style cafeteria, with self-help tea, water and fruit on offer at one end and with sofas and a log burner at the other end where guests can chill, read and chat, and help themselves to cups of tea.

Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness, it is designed to help the practitioner connect to the energy inside, and to feel a greater sense of inner peace, joy and bliss. The yoga sets are called kriyas and include breath work, yoga postures, mantra and relaxation. You will also practice different types of mediation over the three days.

In-between your yoga sessions you have the freedom to relax in the garden, play tennis or join in on a group walk in the countryside that is all around you. Our retreat chef will spoil you with divine treats in the form of home-made teas and tonics, nutritious snacks and meals. The weekend will leave you feeling totally reenergized, whole again, and calibrated on the deepest levels as the yoga practice and food will serve to reboot your whole system; the body, mind, and energy bodies.
