Andrea welcomes you to her healing space, a 400-year-old farmhouse built of the local Maltese limestone, which has been renovated and kept in old-modern style, offering comfort, charm, and relaxation. The house lies on a ley line connected to a water portal just off the island of Comino. A magical space is abundant in local crystals, plants, cats, and love.

The house is set on three floors with three en-suite bedrooms, a healing therapy cave, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, fireplace, and a private pool overlooking Comino and Malta. The farmhouse offers a warm, sensual, and idyllic sanctuary to re-generate and re-invent yourself.

The Healing Tree has a community garden behind the house and uses in-season vegetables and herbs when available. We also buy fresh goat cheese, goat milk, and free-range eggs from our neighbor, who is a shepherd and can be seen walking her sheep and goats daily by the house. The Healing Tree accommodation is simple, modest, and nurturing. You will be well looked after and nurtured as all your basic needs are provided for.

The Healing Tree space does not have a television but it does have a large table for you to share and support one another. The triangular common area kitchen, dining room, and living room are the heart of the home.

You will find fresh lemon turmeric water available as well as fresh herbal teas. Both the indoor and outdoor living spaces are comfortable and inviting - a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere to be in and enjoy. The Healing Tree also shares their home with their warm loving cats Molly, Tigre, Blackie, Oscar, Louisa, and Azue (all of which are indoor and outdoor cats).

You will stay in a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Fresh towels and linens, and a hairdryer are provided. There is Wi-Fi and each room is equipped with a gas heater for winter and a fan for summer.

Andrea lives on the property.

Pool Room

The middle room, which connects to the common areas, has one queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It has a door that connects directly to the pool. The bathroom also has a bathtub. It is the oldest room in the house and displays traditional Maltese tiles as well as high ceilings. The room is ideal for dreams, relaxation, and connection to water.

Earth Room

The lower room, which is partially underground, has one queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It connects to the healing cave. It is the quietest room in the home. The room is ideal for deep introspection and meditation. The energy of the room and its cave have been known as an initiation room, where you are able to meet, embrace, and unlock awareness and power that has previously held you back.

Massages, sessions with Andrea, and yoga - weather not permitting in winter - will be held in the cave (only for those on retreat). We kindly ask you to allow us to pass through the room to the cave. All other uses of the cave are by the discretion of the guest in this room.

Program

Unplug. No phone. Time to hear yourself think. Re-discover or discover for the first time your personal truth at this moment as you listen, acknowledge, accept, and embrace the world within you at the serene sanctuary called The Healing Tree. They welcome you to their healing space and home, a three-bedroom 400-year old Gozitan farmhouse offering comfort, charm, and tranquility. Join Andrea and the house of women, as they guide and lead you for several days of silence, self-inquiry, self-care, and inner and island exploration. Daily treks to places of power, daily card readings, and play the insightful Game of Transformation.

Allow yourself the opportunity to let go of the pain, suffering, and discomfort that has accumulated in the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Be supported to embrace and meet your inner world. Receive tools on how to cultivate your relationship with yourself and how to relax in the discomfort of what arises within you. Honor yourself through time and space in a safe, nurturing, guided healing sanctuary. Andrea will also be on hand for one-on-one individual and personal support and guidance if needed.

Since the world around us is merely a reflection of the world within us, it is not so much what happens in the world but how it affects us. What is the inner dialogue that we continue to water day after day? When you listen to yourselves, are you what you think? Who is it that is speaking? The voice within is oyur friend or enemy or both?

The silent retreat allows you to listen, to get to know and befriend the voice within. It allows space and time to hear yourself, and after you have heard and witnessed all the unsaid remarks, you are able to be in a space that is quiet, and without thoughts or internal dialogue or remarks.

Allows your thoughts to inspire you. Gather inspiration of the purest and cleanest form as we spend the majority of our time together walking and trekking in nature. Allow your conversation to be spoken and heard and shared with nature as we explore and traverse sacred sites, crystal lands, and fossilized lands.

If you are looking for answers around you, let this retreat answer your question. Find the answer yourself within you and also confirmed by that of nature. It may be through a bird, a crystal you unearth, a sunset, whatever way it presents itself to you, allow and gift yourself to the opportunity to re-discover your power that you had the answer all along.

This retreat is suitable for any level and any age. Beginner and experienced all welcome and encouraged.

This is a personal retreat that is conducted in flow, which means, adjusts to the natural rhythms of life and how we feel at the moment.

Each retreat is tailored to what you need at a specific time through diet, treks, sessions, healing therapies, guidance, and free time. The schedule is flexible to be most suitable for your needs and reflected by the season.

Andrea Ridgway

Location

Welcome to the healing home of Andrea Ridgway. Located in the middle of the Mediterranean sea on the island of Gozo in the village of Qala. Gozo, which means 'joy', is a little spit of land sitting in the Mediterranean Sea with a unique rocky coastal landscape, waters so crystal-clear and the sky so bright blue that you’ll have to rub your eyes to believe what you are seeing. Gozo is the second-largest island of the Maltese Archipelago and is an ideal destination for those who treasure a slow, relaxed rhythm of life and cherish the unspoiled countryside and being close to the sea. The beauty of surrounding nature all around creates an ambiance of complete peace.

Andrea welcomes you to her home, a Gozitan farmhouse built of the local Maltese limestone, which has been renovated and kept in old-modern style, offering comfort, charm, and relaxation. Set on 3 floors with 3 en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and living room overlooking the private pool and nature views of Gozo and sea views of the Blue Lagoon, Comino, and Malta. There is also a cave room, where you can book your therapy and/or treatment session.

Andrea lives in the top part of her home. The home and lifestyle are based on relaxation, peace, and harmony. While there is Wifi, you will find a better signal without it as our home is connected with nature, animals, sunrise, and walking trails. We share our space with our three, sometimes five, cats: Azué, Molly, Louisa, Oscar, and Blackie. We buy fresh goat cheese, goat milk, and free-range eggs from our neighbor, who is a shepherd and can be seen daily walking her sheep and goats by the house. Our living is simple, modest, and nurturing. You will be well looked after and nurtured as all your basic needs are provided for. Our space does not have a television but it does have a large table for us all to share and support one another. Our triangular common area kitchen, dining room, and living room are the heart of the home. Located just below is the healing cave where healing therapies and sessions take place.
