Ever since she was a young child, Janice has loved movement and full expression whether in dance or theater. When she moved to Austin in 1979, she discovered the practice of yoga and fell in love with it. This began her journey to the heart and a path of healing that continues to grow daily. Practicing for over thirty years, Janice shares her love and the gift of yoga on and off the mat. In the spirit of love, she combines the energy of healing with playfulness to guide her students.

Susan is a yoga, meditation, and mindfulness inquiry teacher. Susan’s nurturing style combines body, mind, and spirit to facilitate bringing presence to all aspects of life.
Christopher is a mindfulness inquiry teacher and speaker who has been on a journey of awakening for 30 years. He is passionate about individual transformation and facilitating others in their awakening process.
Carmel began her practice in 1989 after a book fell on her head in a local bookstore. The book, “Initiation,” was not about yoga but reincarnation. Carmel now has a program of mentoring teachers as she continues to grow in her own practice and has let go of owning a studio in order to concentrate more on workshops and retreats. Her summers are spent teaching yoga on the Beach in Avon, New Jersey. Carmel is a Certified Anusara Teacher since 2003 and has been teaching since 1996. She also is a student of Paul Mueller Ortega and a meditator of Neelakantha Meditation.
Heidi’s gentle and restorative approach to the yoga practice incorporates energy work, flower essences, mantra, yantra painting, gemology, and astrology as well as yoga Nidra. She received her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification from the Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica in 2009. She also has 108 hours of training in the heart-oriented method of Anusara. In 2013, she completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training with Brenna Geehan and Jean Mazzei of SriYoga in San Francisco.
Ariel has been teaching for over 15 years. She started as a dancer and dance teacher and found pilates and yoga through a back injury. She fell in love and has been practicing and teaching ever since. She hopes she can inspire her students to enjoy their bodies, build strength and length, and find a deeper understanding of themselves while doing it. Ariel is inspired by her background in dance, her teacher Master Dhyan Vimal, and believes that it doesn’t matter what your posture looks like on the outside but rather how it feels on the inside.
Alandra offers intuitive readings, workshops, intensives, and retreats throughout North, South, and Central America and Europe. She has been working in the fields of transformation, healing, facilitation, and awakening for over 20 years with clients from all walks of life and in over 20 countries. Her training covers a wide variety of modalities. She assists the individual in recognizing and reconnecting back to the truth, the sacred, the love, and celebration inherent in one’s being.
Jenny Tumas has been teaching yoga since 2001 when she completed her first teacher training at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara. She offers students practices which blend traditional yoga forms, and the grace and power that flows through them, with contemporary forms based on current and evolving understandings of biomechanics and what’s best for real, individual bodies. Her classes blend elements of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga - all with a focus on the breath and making yoga accessible to all. She is a registered E-RYT 500 and has led several yoga teacher training programs.

Tracy Matthias is a long time practitioner of yoga. Tracy completed her 200-hour teacher training with Jenny Tumas at Marigold Yoga and has taken additional workshops with other teachers. Tracy enjoys teaching and practicing Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Gentle yoga. Her methodical approach to breath awareness and flow sequences will leave you feeling refreshed, euphoric and with newfound strength and flexibility. Tracy embraces the Ashtanga sequence - offering custom instruction, modifications, and hands-on assists if desired.
Amy discovered how expressive and empowering movement can be at a young age and has found joy, inspiration, healing, peace, health, and well-being through various forms of movement over the years. She has used knowledge, combined with passion, to help others embrace wellness for over 25 years with a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from The University of Texas at Austin.
Margi Clifford is an experienced yoga teacher, therapist, and teacher trainer with an infectious passion for the practice. She is committed to diverse populations of practitioners. She is a nature lover, loyal friend, voracious traveler, and ardent student. Margi offers professional counseling and consultation services in Anchorage and via tele-therapy to clients around the world with her company: Yoga for Mental Health.
Hannah Kincaid is editor-in-chief of Mother Earth Living magazine and has spent the past five years learning from some of the top herbalists and gardeners in the nation. Hannah is passionate about crafting herbal body care products and pressed flower art using homegrown botanicals. She maintains a large organic garden and feels the most alive when her hands are in the soil and her face is turned toward the sun.
Pamela Nelson is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher at the Junior Intermediate II Level. She has become a member of the Iyengar Association of Canada (IYAC) and is certified at the national level. She has practiced yoga for over 24 years and taught for over 13, training exclusively in the Iyengar system. She teaches all level of classes including beginner, all-levels, intermediate, Iyengar Flow, gentle / Restorative, backs, and joints, senior / modified, and youth, and kids. She loves teaching yoga in a way that is accessible to all and to continue in the light of Guruji’s work.

Roxanne is a certified teacher of iRest Meditation. iRest is a healing and transformative practice based on the ancient teaching of yoga Nidra, but adapted for the modern world. Roxanne has a unique style of teaching that incorporates many styles of yoga. She is constantly learning from different teachers and trying new and different ways of moving the body. Her main focus in teaching asana is the really feel the body and all its layers. Her classes are challenging for all levels, but more importantly intuitive and playful.
With thousands of hours of experience in classrooms in New York, Dominica, New Mexico, and Guatemala, Ashleigh is a senior Vinyasa and Restorative teacher. Ashleigh is passionate about teaching teachers how to teach. She co-created and teaches the 200 Aurafitness flow-based teacher training with Aura Garver at Aurafitness. She completed her relax and renew Restorative yoga teacher certification with Judith Hanson Lasater. She is also certified in prenatal yoga through Urban Yoga of Vancouver. Ashleigh is most inspired by where she lives, in the rural high desert mountains of northern New Mexico. Her experience in this vast land has inspired her life to be in uninterrupted communication with nature, which she believes to be the greatest healer and teacher.

A student for over twenty years, Alix has been teaching yoga since 2007. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level, recently completing 300 hours of training with her teachers Tias and Surya Little of Prajna Yoga based in Sante Fe, New Mexico. She received her yoga for Scoliosis Teacher Trainer certification through senior Iyengar teacher Elise Miller, and continues to study yoga for back care and scoliosis with Deborah Wolk from NYC. As a licensed massage therapist, Alix brings a deep understanding of anatomy and alignment into her teaching and hands-on adjustments.

Janet creates such a wonderful space to let go of regular life and relax into your practice. It was such a luxury to get to practice yoga 3 times a day at a beautiful retreat resort (Lumeria Maui), in a tropical environment surrounded by likeminded people. Add in a splash of tropical drinks, healthy delicious food and good conversation and it took the typical beach vacation to a whole other level (with plenty of beach time too). I was able to conquer new poses that I never would have normally attempted and came back with a new appreciation for the challenges and clarity that yoga provides me. I describe the yoga retreat as “fancy summer camp for grown ups” with fast friends, meal times and lots of optional activities. It was truly an amazing experience!
