A state of being one with the universe and bringing back the universe within themselves is an act only possible for elevated souls. Siddha means an adept or one who attained perfection or "Siddhi". Just as a salt doll dissolves and merges into the oceans, the Siddhas have thrown their personality into the ocean of God or the ultimate reality within, and experienced a progressive transformation of their intellectual, mental, vital and physical sheaths. Thus a divine transformation of their entire human nature takes place after attaining such a unique realization.

He is one of the very few people who can co relate the ancient text to modern science.
He is now in training to be a healer in the Siddha medicinal therapy practice that is, a traditional system of healing very ancient in nature and has its roots in South India and is considered to be one of India's oldest systems of medicine. It is a system of traditional medicine originating in ancient Tamilakam (Tamil Nadu) in South India and Sri Lanka. The Siddha system is based on a combination of ancient medicinal practices and spiritual disciplines as well as alchemy and mysticism.
Siddhanthasinthanaiselvar Dr. C. Balu is a retired professor of Philosophy who served at Annamalai University, Chidambaram for over 29 years and his area of specialisation is ‘Saiva Siddhantha.’ He has published many articles and has delivered lectures at different places in India and abroad. Saiva Siddhantha is a well-established philosophy aiming at human emancipation from the shackles of empirical existence by invoking the grace of Siva. Though the phenomenal world is real, it becomes peripheral to an aspirant who prefers to lead a spiritual life than promoting a materialistic outlook.

Tamil cuisine is a cuisine native to the Tamil people who are native to the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Tamil people are famous for their deep belief that serving food to others is a service to humanity. The region has a rich range of cuisine and vegetarian traditional dishes. Rice, legumes, and lentils are used extensively and the flavor is achieved by the blending of various spices. Vegetables and dairy products are essential accompaniments and tamarind is used as the favored souring agent.
A sappadu (a typical meal) consists of rice with other typical Tamil dishes served on a banana leaf which gives different flavor and taste to the food, then a dessert (normally Paayasam) is usually served as a dessert to finish the meal.
‘Virundhu’ which means ‘feast’, is when guests are invited during happy ceremonial occasions to share food. For festivals and special ceremonies, a more elaborate menu with steamed rice.
After the completion of the feast, banana and betel leaves (eaten with areca nuts and limestone paste) are provided to aid digestion.
Guests sit for a full course meal served on a banana leaf. Traditionally the banana leaf is laid so that the narrower leaf tip is on the left and the wider portion of the leaf on the right. Also the stem of the leaf running horizontally in the center with top and bottom halves. Before the feast begins the leaf is sprinkled with water and cleaned even though the leaves are already clean. The top half of the banana leaf is reserved for accessories, the lower half for the rice. The lower right portion of the leaf may have a scoop of warm sweet milky rice Payasam, Kesari, Sweet Pongal or any Dessert items.
While the top left includes a pinch of salt, a dash of pickle and a thimbleful of salad, or a smidgen of chutney. In the middle of the leaf, there may be an odd number of fried items like small circles of chips either banana, yam or potato, thin crisp papads or frilly wafers aruna Appalams and vadai. The top right-hand corner is reserved for spicy foods including curry, hot, sweet, or sour and the dry items.
