All accommodation facilities in the retreat center are traditional Khmer straw and wooden bungalows nestled within the spacious gardens and range from shared to private and basic to premium. All bungalows are clean, comfortable and equipped with electrical outlets, bedding and fans. The heart of Vagabond Temple is the Prana Lounge a central community gathering space where you will share meals, socialize with other guests, or cozy up in a hammock with a book from the spiritual library. Classes are held in a spacious, open door yoga shala that is extension of the surrounding nature. Guest can enjoy access to free WiFi throughout the center.

Program

The retreat program is suitable to all levels of experience whether you are taking your first steps on the spiritual path or have a strong practice already implemented, this program is built in a way that meets your individual needs. Enjoy a unique learning experience, develop your own self-practice, heal, create and celebrate. Incorporate yoga, meditation, healing, dance, philosophy and a lot of love. With experienced teachers and healers, a supportive community, private mentor meetings and group classes this program will encourage you to expand your mind, overcome your boundaries and live to your full potential.   • 07:00 to 08:30 Group morning yoga: asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises)
  • 08:30 to 09:30 Breakfast
  • 09:45 to 10:30 Morning circle
  • 10:30 to 12:00 Personal time: rest, relax at the beach, self-study/practice, healing sessions
  • 12:00 to 13:00 Midday activity: dharma talk, spiritual philosophy and focus classes
  • 13:00 to 14:00 Lunch
  • 14:00 to 16:30 Personal time: rest, relax at the beach, self-study/practice, healing sessions
  • 16:30 to 18:00 Afternoon practice: asana, pranayama and meditation
  • 18:00 to 19:00 Dinner
  • 19:00 to 19:30 Evening meditation: yoga Nidra (the yoga of relaxation), guided meditation
  • 21:30 Silent time

Sunday is an optional day at the center. There is a shortened yoga class in the morning, afternoon yoga class, and evening meditation and three meals are served. This day gives the guests the opportunity to rest, read, self-practice or go to the beach.

Pazit Barak
Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nasik, India (Yoga)
Pazit is a yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher, a life coach and holistic healing therapist specialising in reiki, sound healing, and reflexology. Throughout the years, she has taken part in a variety of Buddhist retreats, while deepening her yoga practice, she became a certified yoga teacher at Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nasik, India, as well as a Kundalini yoga teacher as taught by yogi Bhajan. Pazit’s experiences and studies in reiki,yoga, meditation and tantra inspired her to develop and build her own dedicated practice.
Kobi
Kobi is a yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher, a nutritional and holistic health counsellor and life coach. A life long student, Kobi has trained with great yoga masters around the world—mostly in India, Thailand and Israel. He has extensive experience and education in varying styles of yoga including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Kundalini, Hatha, Yin and Iyengar. At Vagabond Temple reterat center, Kobi uses his extensive theoretical knowledge complemented with years of practical experience in gently guiding people on their path to self-realization.

Location

Vagabond Temple is situated within a tranquil and lush space in the quiet town Kep, surrounded by flowers, ponds, exotic fruit trees and plants including papaya, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, jackfruit, pepper and more. Set near Kep National Park’s beautiful mountains, and overlooking the sea, our retreat centre is a haven of peace and harmony. During free time, guests can enjoy exploring nearby villages or relax at the beach which is only a 5 minute drive from the centre (10-15 minute walk).

Food

At the Vagabond Temple, there are keen enthusiasts of all things regarding nutrition, health and conscious eating habits. The best will be done to bring you delicious and healthy vegan meals three times a day, seven days a week. Vagabond Temples resident cook puts together some traditional Cambodian dishes, so you have the opportunity to try the local cuisine cooked in house, as well as, western style dishes. Every morning their vegetables are delivered fresh and are full of flavor, and of course the meals are made with love.
