Cedric Raynard

Cedric was born surrounded by mountains in Valais, Switzerland. He initially assuaged his search for adventure by climbing, skiing, and snowboarding. A natural passion for teaching leads him to the federal patent snow sports. It was only later during his first trip to Asia in the 90s that he discovered a real attraction for water through surfing in Indonesia. At the same time, he learned yoga in Bali and Australia

Tapashi Devchoudhury

Tapashi Devchoudhury was born in a Hindu Brahmin family amidst the serene valleys and rolling hills of Northeast India. Tapashi was introduced to yoga very early in her life by her father. Her mother passed on her knowledge of ancient Hindu philosophies and the subtle meanings of Sanskrit shlokas and mantras. In course of time, she took to meditation on her own. She later followed a teacher training course in the tradition of Hatha yoga at Yoga Vidya Gurukul, a traditional Indian Ashram.

Waterwalk is perfect for first timers to learn how to surf! Cedric and Tapashi, two beautiful souls and also amazing teachers really helped us learn how to get up and ride the surf in no time. I would really recommend anyone who is willing and able to hop over at Mandrem Beach for this amazing experience.

I was there about 3 weeks ago with some friends. I took a surfing course with Tapashi and a standup paddling course with Cedric. They made it very easy for me. The weather was perfect! I saw dolphins quite close as well. It was such a wonderful experience in a very quiet beach. I was so surprised by the amount of tourists on the beach. I almost didn't want to reveal this hidden gem.

Learnt how to paddle and combine it with yoga and pranayama. Fantastic to feel one with the water of the sea and great challenge for your balance. Finished with a floating meditation! Would recommend this to everyone who loves yoga. Namaste!

We have always worked out in confined rooms. Have you ever wondered doing it on a surf board in sea water? Sounds amazing, right? Fitness freak or not, its meant for all. In your next visit to Goa, Waterwalk India's SUP should be in your to-do list.

I have done stand up paddle with this guys and I highly recommend it. They are very kind and fun and if you are lucky you can get to see dolphins, and I cannot explain with words the feeling and the face you end up, big smile and regenerated, I loved it! Try it!

Wonderful experience! I went for my first ever stand-up paddle (SUP) trip, and it has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life. As we were going into the sea, for the first time ever I could feel the waves forming underneath my board. As we went further into the sea, I could see the waves from the other side, which is definitely not an every-time-visit-to-beach-view. It was an incredible experience.I have no words to describe the amazing experience of seeing dolphins from so near in the middle of the sea.Don't worry if you don't know how to swim. I don't know how to swim at all. I can go into the sea only to the distance till my ankles are covered. But with Waterwalk India, I went into the inside the sea, from where all I could see was water. The experience was truly, as the name suggests "walking on water."Definitely a must try for all.
