The Indian mystic OSHO creates a large number of meditations to help people move deeper into meditation. It is said that the modern mind is too busy to be expected to sit quietly in meditation so he devised a number of active meditations which include a stage of the movement, including jogging, shaking, jumping or dancing, to help release blockages from the system, before sitting in silent meditation.
These meditations are powerful in helping you move and transform energy blocks. Meditations on the course may include:
Claire Sulochani is an experienced Reiki practitioner, teacher trainer, and meditation facilitator. She is also trained in family constellations, art therapy, and Ayurvedic and deep tissue massage. She and her husband Chris moved to Bulgaria nine years ago and set up an organic smallholding and eco-retreat. She has been offering Reiki training at Wild Thyme since 2013.
Energy work first entered Sulochani's life over 20 years ago and she found it be a powerful tool to open doors to understand herself. Over the years, she trained to Reiki level 4. She also trained in OSHO meditation facilitation; Reiki levels 1-4; family constellations; OSHO art therapy; and Ayurvedic and deep tissue massage. She visits India every year for meditation and massage training. Her own journey has included healing through family constellations, breath work, trauma therapy, deep tissue massage, tantra, and inner child work.
Wild Thyme Eco-Retreat is located in the traditional village of Palamartsa in northeast Bulgaria. A visit to the village is a step back in time, where horses and carts pass outside your window and you are woken by the sound of the village shepherd taking his flock to pasture.
The old women of the village lead a traditional lifestyle tending their gardens, processing their harvests and taking part in the lively folk traditions of the village.
The house grows its own organic vegetables and animals include goats, a pig, and chickens. Guests are welcome to help feed the animals, collect eggs or milk the goats. A horse and cart ride around the village can be organized on request.
The retreat house is surrounded by rolling hills where guests are free to wander and enjoy the open countryside. From June to August, the beautiful outdoor pool is open in the neighboring village.
The village includes a little bar, several shops and a Thai restaurant, run by a Thai resident of the village.
Wild Thyme is a small farm growing a range of organic vegetables for the owners and their guests. The animals (goats, chickens, and a pig) provide milk, eggs, and meat. Nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners will be lovingly prepared from this fresh produce and weather permitting you will eat outdoors overlooking the garden.
One evening you have the opportunity to sample local Bulgarian cuisine and music with local musicians. And on another night, enjoy a campfire and barbeque. All meals are included and you can help yourself to tea, coffee, and spring water through the day.
Reiki treatments, Ayurvedic massage, or deep tissue massage are available for guests on the final afternoon or for those who wish to stay on after the course ends. Claire Sulochani aims to provide a safe and loving space where clients enter a deep meditative space from which self healing flows.
Ayurvedic massage is a very relaxing deep experience which helps you detox and can leave you feeling refreshed, full of energy and with a great sense of peace. It uses lots of sensual warm oils.
