Program
Yoga Academy International wants to give you a rejuvenating retreat-style experience interwoven with an upstanding yoga education. Upon completion, eligible yoga teachers will receive a Yin yoga teaching certification. The intensive yoga teacher training program will be woven in throughout the day and you will have ample opportunity to relax and enjoy the decadence of Morocco.
This training is also one of the elective modules of their advanced 500-hour yoga teaching certification. In taking this training, you will gain 60 hours toward your 500-hour certification registered with the international yoga alliance.

This Yin yoga teacher training will touch on:
- History and origins of Yin yoga
- Anatomy of Yin and the mayofacial system
- Chinese meridians
- Where Yin yoga and science meet
- How to sequence Yin yoga classes
- How to create a safe space for Yin
- Moon cycles, lunar energy and Yin yoga
- How to effectively use props
Other useful information
There will be onr day off during the program where meals are not included. This is your opportunity to go into Marrakech and enjoy an authentic Moroccan experience. Yoga Academy International is happy to help you with restaurant recommendations and other activities for you to do. Marrakech is relatively inexpensive. You can expect to spend 2-20 USD for a meal on your day off. Entrance to museums are around 5 USD.
Instructors
Kezia Tatton
Kezia is a yoga instructor from the West Coast of Southern Ontario with eight years of teaching experience. Kezia began yoga at the age of 16, and after two years of delving into the practice, Kezia traveled to Baja, Mexico to complete the 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yandara Yoga Institute. Since then, Kezia has grown her appetite for travel and has continued her yoga education through conferences, workshops, weekend training, and yoga festivals.
