How the course works

This course consists of eight live sessions within eight weeks. There will be one 60-minute live session via Zoom every Wednesday.

Course information

In the first stage of this course, suitable for all levels including complete beginners, you will be introduced to the practice of kaya sthairyam, or body stillness, to explore the intimate relationship between body and mind and to learn to sit still in order to allow the practice, as well as any other meditational practice, to take you deeper, quicker. After that, the first two stages of Antar Mouna, or inner silence, will be introduced as a method to transition from the consciousness of an active participant to that of an objective and dispassionate witness - one of the most important abilities needed to make real changes in life.

Along with these core practices, you will also explore the beneficial effects of simple loosening asanas and balancing and tranquilizing pranayama techniques that are conducive to the experience of meditation and make it more enjoyable and efficient. Recordings and practice guidance will be given for the duration of the course, and for afterward.

This course is held online. Yoga2 is based in London, UK and they will live-stream the classes via Zoom based on GMT during winter and GMT+1 for sessions after March 28th, 2021 which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
