People often think that "Zen meditation" includes only a tedious, boring, and wordless seating, as well as disciplined abstinence. However, that should not be the case. Zenklausen Eifel have developed a Zen program that proves that Zen meditation can bring fun and joy, too. After a Zen stay in the Zenklausen experience, people can often make better decisions, can hear their inner voice again amidst the pressures and concerns of life, and difficulties can often be viewed from a different angle and be solved.
Beginners and experts in meditation and / or Zen are welcome at all times from February until December in the Zenklausen. You can also determine the length of your retreat individually. The daily program refers primarily to the so-called "individual retreat". In case it is desired, a program can be designed to accompany and instruct you on your Zen path during your stay with professional guidance from the Zenklausen.
Monday is the day of rest at Zenklausen. For that day, guests can plan their own programs. No consultation and / or administration will take place on this day. On that day, no reservation or registrations will be processed as well.
The Zenklausen is located in the beautiful and serene Natural Park of the High Fens in the Eifel. This place is in Germany, close to Belgium and Luxembourg. Here, you can still experience nature as a teacher for life. In this place, the wind carries away your worries. The forest embraces you with its serenity. The moon in the starry sky illuminates the darkness of your existence. Finally, the metaphysical silence helps you experience your own essential being.
